I was told my new car was in detail 3x to avoid that they weren’t prepared. My car was far from detailed. There were sucker sticks in the carpet. I drove from Arkansas to joplin yesterday 7/7/22 at 11am with the exact truck that I wanted on your lot. I made it very clear that I wanted to buy it and wanted to spend as little time as possible sitting a with the exact truck that I wanted on your lot. I made it very clear that I wanted to buy it and wanted to spend as little time as possible sitting around. I am self employed and verification of income took a while and that’s on me. I know it takes a while to send over my bank records and explain that I’m in real estate. 5pm and we are told it’s a deal and that I have the financing to get the beautiful f-250 that I’ve been patiently waiting for all day! I pull out my subwoofer, amplifier, and adapter from my trade in (f150 raptor) arrange to have them re installed in the new f-250 ($300) the car salesman, Dilon (he was great through this whole process! Very personable and kept in great contact over the next 24 hours while this ordeal kept going on. Give that man a raise!) Takes the 250 to fill the tank up with gas while I sign the bank paperwork. I finish up the paperwork and pay the $5000 down and get in my new truck! Such an exciting moment! All we are waiting on is the Tag…..we were waiting around an hour before Shaun comes out with no tag and the news that it turns out the bank has not yet approved the loan. That we need to get back in the raptor and that tomorrow we will have the approval. ( I drove from Bella vista, ar specifically to shop at your store in Joplin) so with sadness but still the good feeling that delaying the anticipation of this new truck being mine we drive back to Arkansas. 7/8/22 I did not hear from Shaun until 12 in the afternoon after I reached out to dylon asking what’s going on. I got Shawn’s number from Dylon and called. I was told that I got approval and that dylon was in charge of finding a driver to drive the f-250 and that he would know in an hour when they would begin the journey. 2 comes and goes,3, 4, 5…. Finally I get a call from Shaun! Finally my truck! Nope. He says wrong number my bad. So I ask what’s going on and he tells me he’s been on hold and dealing with other customers! That he will get back to me in two minutes…….it’s 6pm and I’m guessing he went home for the day. I have never written a negative review online and am one of the most positive people out there. I hate even writing this negative review right now after all this, but am writing it in hopes that you guys will change how you manage this part of the buying process. I have felt like my business is not wanted or needed and that I am not appreciated, and I don’t want others to have to go through this in the future. It looks like I’m not going to be getting this truck? Who knows? If not how difficult will it be to get my $5k back? I’m not even going to complain about the time lost or ask for money to re install my stereo. Just wanted to make you aware of how I was treated. More
