Cory contacted us from a Craig's list ad we posted for my two vehicles I was selling. He hounded us about bringing them to dealership or he would meet us somewhere to look at cars and see what kind of deal two vehicles I was selling. He hounded us about bringing them to dealership or he would meet us somewhere to look at cars and see what kind of deal he would give for Jeep and car. Told him finally, that we would bring them in. When I arrived there, he said I had to find a vehicle I wanted before anything else could be done. Took info to run credit but I wasn't going to need any credit. I said I didn't want my credit ran and he said it wouldn't be, just needed to get this info in system so I could get trade in value figured on vehicles. I had to test drive two vehicles, didn't want either. Finally, was sat down out front to get trade in value....two vehicles, excellent condition low miles with all the goods and chromed out and only 15,000. Thats the price I was offered for one of the vehicles elsewhere. I said no, stood up, and said I was done and wanted my keys. The sales manager came out and pretty much suckered me into sitting down to talk with him. Said he was trying to work with me but I wouldn't give him anything to work with.....excuse me. He condemned another dealership across the street, which was completely unprofessional and out of line. He asked me all kinds of questions that were irrelevent with current situation. Said it was rare to have anyone pay cash for any vehicle....found that hard to believe and no one suckers me into anything with compliments. I paid cash for the two vehicles brand new I was wanting to trade. I said I was done and had they not had my keys I would have walked out on them. Finally got my keys and left. Week later, found on credit report that they had lied and ran my report so I had a hard inquiry when I didn't need it. I was furious. Called them, Derek, the finance mgr, apologized all over the place and said he would send letter to CredCo and get it taken off. He was the only person who could redemn the dealership in all their doings with this. Two days later he hadn't done it. Week later still nothing to CredCo. Everytime I called to talk to Derek I had to leave voicemail and he has never called me back. They are the rudest and most unprofessional dealership I have ever been into and to lie all the way around from beginning to the repairing of the end is ridiculous. More
I conducted business mostly over the phone with Tab Bluejacket for a used certified vehicle. Although there were some issues along the way with Mr. Bluejacket, mainly with a certifition requiring me to Bluejacket for a used certified vehicle. Although there were some issues along the way with Mr. Bluejacket, mainly with a certifition requiring me to return 2.5 hours, the dealership compensated me for mileage and a hotel stay. Brad Abel specifically did a great job of resolving all issues. The service department was also excellent in taking care of the certification once I returned. Dennis Brisco and Lou Quinn were both extremely professional and answered all of my questions. More
This has to be the worst dealership we visited while shopping for a new Chevy Silverado. The sales manger was screaming at my wife to give hm her low dollar. As we stood there puzzled and stuned, he sta shopping for a new Chevy Silverado. The sales manger was screaming at my wife to give hm her low dollar. As we stood there puzzled and stuned, he started yelling I have to sell 120 cars in a 120 hours. This was with customers in the area. Real bullies. I rate this dealership with the tatics of 1980s time share sale people. We will never go back there. More
John was TOTALY Awesome. I just wanted to test drive as being under 5 ft makes car buying difficult. John let me drive the car I was interested in (color and style) and He was into dealing right away when being under 5 ft makes car buying difficult. John let me drive the car I was interested in (color and style) and He was into dealing right away when we got back to dealership. I didn't think I would qualify for a new car without a co-signer and tags included and payments I can reach. He was able to do EVERYTHING I needed to afford the car and take it home. Honestly I have never been happier with a sales experiance than I am with this one. I love the warrenty's that Cheverolet gives and the fact that I can get it serviced at ANY Chevy dealership without being charged for it is awesome. Thank you so much!!!! More
John Goertzen aka Goat was very helpful and understanding. Being a women and buying a car I was already nervous. He was very patient and understanding. He has raised the bar for car salesmen a understanding. Being a women and buying a car I was already nervous. He was very patient and understanding. He has raised the bar for car salesmen and Crossroads is very fortunate to have him as a part of the sales team. The finance department Jake and Derrick were also very professional and excellent to work with. I felt very welcomed and at home. The staff at Crossroads understands the importance of customer service in this day and age. Thank You. Rachael Carlisle More
Eveyone at the dealership was very friendly and helpful, from the time we pulled in the lot someone came immediately to see what they could do for us. I talked with John initially by phone as we are in a di from the time we pulled in the lot someone came immediately to see what they could do for us. I talked with John initially by phone as we are in a different state than the dealership, and he always was very willing to take my calls and answer my questions despite the fact that we live a long distance away and wouldn't be as likely to be a buying customer. John had the vehicle we were interested ready at the front of the lot, a big timesaver, and he never pressured us. He respected that fact thst it was still our decision whether or not to purchase the vehicle no matter how much time he had spent with us. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and the GM Certified program. When we wanted to discuss price, he didn't get rude and defensive, and he was willing to just sit with us and answer our questions while we discussed our options. He was thorough when he explained all the paperwork we would be signing and who would need what once we got home. When we finalzed the paperwork, the Director of Financing (sorry, forgot name) was equally friendly and thorough. All in all, this was a great car buying experience and we feel the staff let the vehicle and its price do the selling rather than high pressure tactics. *The reason the "quality of work" received a rating of good was because, while the outside of the truck was immaculate, the inside could have used a good cleaning. It was quite dusty, and there was dried gunk on the cupholders and storage bins. There was even a used tobacco chew cup and dirty napkin under the seat (yuck!), the least someone could have done is thrown those away. Also, if the outside of the truck is being cleaned, why not rinse the straw out of the bed of the truck? More
I can not say enough wonderful things about our salesman, John "Goat" Goertzen. He is incredible. I never felt pressured. I never felt he was "selling" - he was simply helping me find what I wanted. He wa John "Goat" Goertzen. He is incredible. I never felt pressured. I never felt he was "selling" - he was simply helping me find what I wanted. He was nice, sincere, fun, entertaining, polite.... not the adjectives I would normally think of to describe a car salesman, but certainly accurate descriptions of Goat. He deserves recognition and should be held up as the role model for all salespersons across the world. And just to make this perfectly clear, I am not related or friends with him. I just believe in giving credit where credit is due. Too often people only hear the negatives. I prefer to focus on the postives. Crossroads has a beautiful facility. I have had dealings with the parts and service departments in the past. It is because of the quality service I received in those departments that prompted me to purchase a vehicle from them. The manager of the Parts department, Kent, is a very professional, knowledgable, and honest man. It is refreshing to see he is actually involved in the day to day activities. His people seem to be happy employees. I've been in places where everyone seemed to wish the customers would go away. That was not the case at Crossroads. Seems to be a car dealership that got it right. I actually came over 100 miles to purchase my vehicle because I no longer live in Joplin. I wouldn't purchase a vehicle from any dealer in my area based on word-of-mouth (and a few lawsuits by the state AG). I will purchase from Crossroads again, hopefully sooner than later. More
I was very impressed with the way that Jordan handled everything. I had a lot of specifications that I wanted in a new car and he went out of his way to locate a vehicle that fit everything I had asked f everything. I had a lot of specifications that I wanted in a new car and he went out of his way to locate a vehicle that fit everything I had asked for. He left such a good impression on me that I was more than happy to bring my daughter in a couple days later because I knew that if he took that good of care of me I could trust him with my daughter.(She bought a new car also) More
