Critters chewed up my wiring on my EV car. Fortunately, the light came on and I took it in to have it checked out. They found the chewed wiring and would not let me drive home. Briefly…I’m shopping an hour from home, driving a suburban that someone tried to steal at the KC airport but failed after stripping all the wires in the steering column. Today was the first time I needed to use the windshield wipers after the car being repaired locally and then they wouldn’t turn off. Wouldn’t even slow down. It’s four thirty on a Friday before a three day holiday. A service manager and a mechanic, I’m so sorry I didn’t get their names, located and pulled the relevant fuse to shut down the wipers. First they checked the weather to see if I would be likely to run into more rain before I got home. A total stranger, at the last minute on a holiday weekend. They would only accept a heartfelt thank you and wished me a safe trip home. I’m a 76 year old widow and their kindness meant the world to me. Landers Chevrolet you rate 10+! More
