Worst dealership I have ever bought a car from…. Spent $5000 on a warranty. I got 2 oil changes for that. When my car needed repairs( that were under the $5000 warranty), I had to book a loaner car 1 1/2 $5000 on a warranty. I got 2 oil changes for that. When my car needed repairs( that were under the $5000 warranty), I had to book a loaner car 1 1/2 months in advance. My car needs maintenance right away, but I had to wait 1 1/2 months for a loaner car. I dropped the car off. They kept my car for 2 weeks & never fixed the “ valet” or the gas tank pump. The pump literally shuts off at the gas station between 20-30 times while pumping gas. THEY HAD MY CAR FOR TWO WEEKS AND DID NOT FIX THE GAS HOSE. Can you imagine? I also told them the brakes were very, very squeaking. Yes, they returned the car to me 2 weeks later with my brakes not being fixed as well Every time you call or stop by the dealership , they immediately tell you,” That that is not covered under your $5000 warranty.” When I pull the warranty out, they change their mind. This place is very sketchy. I advise anyone reading this to be VERY, VERY AWARE! More
My wife was verbally assaulted by the general manager Bridgette. We have brought our piece of crap 100K Range Rover 6 times for the same issue. The service people and manager are basically lying to my wife saying that the squeaking sound from the lift gate is because the car is dirty. This issue is then only followed by the trunk not closing every time. It had nothing to do with dirt according to every mechanic I have talked to. These people are liars and act like the myriad of issues that plague their cars are the customers fault. Further they accused my wife of pressing the trunk button “aggressively”. After the 6 time we brought the car in for this issue my wife asked that they either fix it or give her a new car. The general manager at that point became aggressive and told my wife they would not touch the car and challenged her to take it to a lawyer and try to sue them in lemon law. (Unbeknownst to her I am an attorney and just started working on just that lawsuit) If you are thinking of buying a Range Rover first of all don’t, unless you like your car to be in the shop for 8 months in a year. Second of all do not go to Range Rover of Encino. The service staff and especially the managers are consummate liars and con artist who try to blame all the defects in their vehicles on the customer. The entire staff needs to be tarred and feathered for the horrible disservice they provide to the community. More

I made an appointment on their website for Friday morning. I took my car to them on time and asked for a diagnostics ONLY (i.e. no parts, no labor, no actual work to be performed). On the following Monday at 12 pm I called them for an update. I was told the service advisor was having "computer issues" and he would call me back (whatever...I went with it). At 2:10 pm, not receiving a call back, I called them again and was told the service advisor is busy and I'd have to leave him a voice mail. So, I did and I asked him to call me back with an update. At 4 pm, AGAIN not receiving a call back, I called them again. I was to AGAIN the service advisor is busy. I asked to speak with the service manager. Of course, she was busy also and I got her voice mail. In my voice mail I briefly told her my issue and asked her not to touch my car and just leave it outside so I could go and pick it up. At 4:45 pm I finally received a call from the service advisor notifying me that they had not yet looked at my car! I asked him not to do anything and I'll pick up my car the next day. On Tuesday morning, I went there to pick up my car. Naturally, they hadn't done anything (they are experts in not doing anything) and didn't charge me for diagnostics. They told me to wait outside and they'll pull up my car. After waiting outside for over 20 minutes, I had to go back inside to inquire on my cars whereabouts. At that time, one of their staff went in the back (same building) and finally brought my car. They had all day Friday, half a day on Saturday, and all day Monday to just look at my car for a diagnostics ONLY. This was following an appointment that Land Rover of Encino made freely and willingly. An appointment meaning they give me a time when they can render service vs. walk-in where I go and wait for service to be rendered. They wasted over 3 working days to do absolutely nothing. I'm not sure why I received such treatment. I don't know if I was singled out or if this is the level of service to be expected from Land Rover of Encino, but my experience was unacceptable. More

I told him I was told I will get a loaner and he said « loaners are courtesy and I don’t get one because he doesn’t have one for me . If I could put 0 stars I would. I brought my 2018 Velar to service at this dealership, which is also where I purchased this vehicle from. The reason I brought it in is because the car would randomly sway a to service at this dealership, which is also where I purchased this vehicle from. The reason I brought it in is because the car would randomly sway and would get especially unstable while braking, making the car too unsafe to drive. PETER BENAVIDEZ, the service representative I was paired up with had a technician look it over, and they came to the conclusion that an alignment and new tires was all that was necessary to make the car safe again. After spending nearly $1,000 and 2 weeks without a car, I drove off the lot and immediately noticed something wasn’t right. I stopped on the side of the road and called Peter and he told me that according to his technicians, the car was drivable and perfectly safe. He said if I had any concerns driving it, I should schedule a test drive with the tech to show him how unstable it is. I proceeded to take the side roads home and have left it in park since. I’ve been trying to schedule the test drive, which is pointless because any person who has driven a car would know that this car is UNSAFE. I have left Peter over 5 voicemails, of which I have yet to receive a response from over the course of the past two months because he is always “with a customer” or “on his lunch break.” I got sick of chasing Peter Benavidez with no response and requested to speak to a manager this morning, who also happened to be with a customer and was told I’d be contacted after emphasizing the fact that my car is not drivable. I have yet to hear from anyone at Land Rover Encino. This is a much different experience from when they wanted my money for purchasing the car in the first place. I expected that with such a price tag and such care for the customer on their sales end that this couldn’t happen. I have owned this car for over two years and know when its safe to drive. As of now, I am left with my expensive paperweight in the driveway as I wait for a response. I JUST WANT A SAFE CAR AGAIN! More
Very Dissatisfied 3 months ago I purchased a Discovery Sport new. After 1300 miles engine light comes on. Everyone acts as if everything is out of their control. I left my vehicle, received no loaner and took a $30 Uber home. Expressed this to the service manager and no efforts were made to accommodate me for the inconvenience. Who purchases a new vehicle just to go through this less than 3 months later. More

We received the recall for the airbag and its time for service. Our adviser Russ either retired or just left, but now I can;t even get a call back, My wife has left 2 messages and I have left 2. Every time we call, it seems like they don;t have enough staff, because I can never talk to anyone that can actually set my appointment. Hopefully they get their stuff together because the run around to get to a service adviser is ridiculous. More
Do yourself a favor go to another dealership!!! I'm about to take the car back to LR of encino. They worked on it two weeks ago and $700 cost later, the warning re-appeared again on the "i" dashboard. The only reason it's going back to that excuse of a dealership is to rub it in their face on how pathetic of a bunch they are. I'm still surprised that that dealership or LR in general still in business..... few of my friends wanted to buy a LR, word of mouth is very powerful.... I advise them against it and explain to them the headache and money wasted. 99% of them change their mind and go for MBZ or even Japanese SUVs..... Last word of advise....DO NOT BUY A LAND ROVER....IT IS A MONEY PIT More
