Not this time! From the moment I entered the dealership my experience was amazing. My salesman, Mel Schifano introduced himself to me, his warm and friendly demeanor made me feel comfortable. He was extremely knowledgeable, addressed all of my concerns, and helped me find the perfect vehicle to meet my families needs. His pricing was also excellent (I did my homework before going to the dealer). I would recommend this dealer without any reservation, and most of all my sales associate Mel Schifano. More
Unprofessional In 2012 I purchased a Range Rover from Huntington JLR and was happy w my experience. 47,000 miles later I was looking to get a new one prior to reac In 2012 I purchased a Range Rover from Huntington JLR and was happy w my experience. 47,000 miles later I was looking to get a new one prior to reaching 50k. I went into JLR of Huntington and left a $1000 deposit for a vehicle that I was told would take some time to come in (2 months!) As I creeped towards 50k, I began to look into a BMW just in case I got too close to 50k - the trade in value drastically drops and the warranty ends. I explained to JLR this and months went by. Finally, I went to BMW and created a custom BMW which came in 10 days! It actually ended up ordering 2 custom builts. When I contacted JLR and told them I could not wait any longer for the vehicle and I have decided to go in another direction, the once nice sales guy (Kevin) who I used for my first and second sale was short, quick and obviously pissed that I had gone w another car. He quickly said 'refund deposit will be in the mail, we can't put it back on your credit card!' and hung up. 6 weeks later, multiple calls to the GM (Dawn) and corporate office - no refund. Dawn couldn't care less, not returning calls or calling me with a status and after a week, claims she can now credit the credit card. Her miserable attitude lacked apology and acted as if I was bothering her. It's been a week since this last claim and it hasn't happened yet! Horrible business skills! Sadly, I now am hearing this from other customers of Huntington JLR ~ sharing my story all the way in Stonybrook over dinner and a stranger chimed in 'Dawn & Kevin? They are horrible'. Will travel to another dealership should I decide to return to RR; although BMW has so many more features for a much better price. I always try to give people the benefit, but 6 weeks for a refund, poor attitude and story after story... More

Service I despise this place with a passion. Several times I had to ask for complimentary car wash. Most times they don't have loaners available. Have to wait I despise this place with a passion. Several times I had to ask for complimentary car wash. Most times they don't have loaners available. Have to wait 3-5 days for an appointment with a loaner. The loaner that they give are always LR2, LR3. Twice the loaner was dirty. I had a problem with my air conditioner. It took 3 times for them to get it right. The other day I called and spoke to two people. One of them was cynical. The other was standoffish. Had my Range Rover for 2 years. It was my dream car. It has turned into my nightmare car due to the service & workers. I am considering trading it in for a BMW. You have to pay for everything & astronomical prices for most things. Such as brakes, windshield wipers, oil change etc.. What's crazy is four years ago when I started seriously looking to buy a Range Rover we encountered an older lady who had purchased a Jaguar from them. She told us not to purchase anything from them. We would regret it! OOH was she so correct! More
Excellent Salesperson Experience I stopped by the dealership with no intention of buying a range rover since I didn't know much about them and was only entertaining trading in my car. I stopped by the dealership with no intention of buying a range rover since I didn't know much about them and was only entertaining trading in my car. Walking into dealerships I always have my guard up as most salespeople only care about making a sale. Well I can assure you that I never had a more pleasant experience with a salesperson than I had with Kevin Sharkey at Huntington Land Rover. He was the most polite, honest, and informative car salesperson I ever encountered. He took his time to thoroughly educate me and even offered a test drive which I had no intention of doing. What I expected to be a quick stop over browsing and checking out the range rovers ended up with me falling in love with the car, the dealership and the amount of professionalism that was displayed. Make a long story short I ended up trading my car and purchasing a new Range Rover. The process couldn't have been any smoother or pleasant. Kevin was tremendous and if salespeople demonstrated and acted the way he did I guarantee you there would be much more new cars being sold very quickly. Everyone at the dealership was awesome and a true first class run experience. Thank you Kevin and staff! PS. I LOVE MY RANGE ROVER!!!! More

I appreciated how she came in early to meet me, arranged for a rental and then a cool loaner car and always kept me informed with a very friendly attitude! When she wasn't available on a morning I was going to bring my truck back in, she made sure the service manager (also very helpful and friendly) was aware of my situation so I could be handled promptly. More

We did our homework beforehand and knew which car we wanted when we first went to Land Rover Glen Cove to get it. The experience there was awful. First we had to hear about how the salesman was really a wanted when we first went to Land Rover Glen Cove to get it. The experience there was awful. First we had to hear about how the salesman was really a "sales guide". Then, instead of telling us his best selling number he asked for our number, but when he heard it he got highly offended and escorted us to the door (the price we proposed wasn't that from what they were asking). So we went to Land Rover Huntington and they were able to get the car we had picked out from Glen Cove's facility. We dealt with Richard who was of real help. No xx, no preaching about being a "sales guide" or wasting of our time. Not only he got all the work done right away, but also gave about $2,000 more for my Lexus trade-in than what the sales guide from Land Rover Glen Cove offered. More

I would definitely recommend this dealer. They excepted me as an emergency appointment and had a rental waiting.
