VERY UNHAPPY In September 2014 I had the unfortunate experience of taking my 2008 LR2 to this dealership because a noise was coming from underneath. From the start In September 2014 I had the unfortunate experience of taking my 2008 LR2 to this dealership because a noise was coming from underneath. From the start, I was not not treated with the same level of respect as the other customers I saw there. Yes, I am a college student and was wearing work out clothes, but that should not have affected the level of customer service I received. I was told that the power steering had failed and the cost would be $2800! My car had just had the 60,000 mile service 2 months prior and all problems were addressed. I was unsure what to do and could not get a second opinion so I agreed. After parts were ordered and repairs made. I was told that they had added another repair. The cost would now be almost $3300! Within a week, I compared notes with the mechanic who had done the 60,000 mile service. I found out immediately that not all of the repairs were urgent. Apparently, dealership mechanics are commissioned based on the amount of work they bring in which I feel is unethical. I was never presented with a choice of having some things repaired and waiting on others which, would have been helpful to me as a college student. This has left me wondering if this is how they would like their own daughters treated? RUN, do not walk away from this place! P.S. I never got the customer satisfaction survey. Our brand new LR4, developed a horrible AC smell. The Service manager actually told me to run the heat for five minutes every time we started it, this was in the middle of summer on a $60K+ vehicle! I brought it in, they said they fixed it, and two weeks later the horrible smell returned. Seems this is a known issue with many Land Rovers. Dealer was not much help, had to get rid of the SUV. Absolutely terrible experience. Wasnt upfront about additional costs. Rude due to the fact it was almost time to go home. Will never deal with the Leith brand again.
