She took the time to go over many things and did not rush me. She asked relevant questions which showed me that I needed to come back and set a time for a thorough walk through of my car. She told me of many features that are relevant to my family since we have small children. Also, the gentlemen in service are helpful, particularly, a mature man of Asian descent (I don't know his name), who is always very polite and proactive, and has resolved my issues. We also have a great service advisor, Ken, who always facilitates the service process, More

Manhattan, Bethesda Jaguar is not a slick, glittering, sales and service dealership for Jaguar which is large, bustling and typically impersonal. Rather it is a small and down-to-earth, family- run Jagu sales and service dealership for Jaguar which is large, bustling and typically impersonal. Rather it is a small and down-to-earth, family- run Jaguar and Land Rover Dealership in business and run by the same family since 1914 which specializes in personal service. I have purchased 5 Jaguars from this dealer and serviced them all here. I have never ever had anything in my relations with its staff but the most thoughtful, accommodating, honest and forthright experience. Brian Armstrong, its Sales Manager is knowledgeable and pleasant. He is the go-to person on any matter relating to sales. Joe Simoules is a Master Jaguar Service Advisor with 24 years experience. He is patient, thoughtful, courteous and always gets the job done to the customer’s satisfaction. If ever an issue has to go to a higher level, David Bohn, the Director of Parts and Service is always available to trouble shoot. He listens to the customer, cares about his/her concerns and solves whatever problem needs to be attended. And, most important, in the shop where the work is done, is Ram Sidhu, “Sid”, the jewel of Manhattan Bethesda Jaguar. “Sid” hails from England; he trained at the Jaguar factory in Coventry in 1969. He is a distinguished recipient of the City and Guilds of London Award with Distinction in 1972. In England he was the Shop Foreman at Henlys of London. He immigrated to the USA in 1993. Since then, at Manhattan Bethesda Jaguar and Land Rover, he won the Jaguar Technicians Guild Competition in 2004, 2005. He is ASE Master Technician and has won the L1 Advanced Diagnostic Technician status. Sid has taken more than 60 training courses from Jaguar/Land Rover. I can attest to the fact that if you buy a Jaguar at Manhattan Bethesda you will get the best service on your car available anywhere in the United States, let alone other dealers in the Maryland area. Without a doubt, anyone interested in buying a Jaguar in the Maryland/Washington DC/Virginia area would be very, very wise, and always be pleased if they bought it at Manhattan Bethesda Jaguar. More
What started out to be a simple warranty issue became difficult & complex. This wasn't because of Oliver nor the Service Director or Manhattan LandRover- it was because of the time and persistance it too difficult & complex. This wasn't because of Oliver nor the Service Director or Manhattan LandRover- it was because of the time and persistance it took to get approval from the manufacturer - LandRover. After months of not giving up we finally received an approval for Audio & Nav system replacement. Both Oliver and the Service Director were true professionals on every level!! I understood their hands were tied however they were sympathetic and such a pleasure to deal with and gave great suggestions. Once approval was given I was able to take my 07 Range Rover in the next day . I was given a rental car and all repairs were made and I was able to have audio again plus they washed my vehicle. The GM called back when I left a message for him and the service drive employees always greeted me with kindness regardless the reason for my service visit. I HIGHLY recommend Manhattan LandRover for all service needs if you have a Range Rover! I am greatful that LandRover came thru and this greatly makes me love the brand even more. It's nice to know companies still service what they sell which is rare these days. They always respected me , never trying to get one over on me because I'm a woman. The tech that consulted with Oliver and me was knowledgable and explained from the beginning exactly what was needed. When I returned he remembered me and knew what needed to be done. He even adjusted my wipers and explained it wasn't what I thought it was afterall (parts my son had purchased previously in Florida). He returned these to me and said there was no need and gave an explanation of what he repaired. Just a fantastic experience! Best Regards and HUGE Thanks, Tammy Albritton More
Oliver got me in within a hour of my call when my original dealer said a week. They charged me half what I paid before to replace my brakes and fixed a electrical issue that my old dealer ignored. original dealer said a week. Brought my 2008 Mercury in to be inspected because alight came on. After inspection I was told a part needed to be replaced, and it would take an hour for the part to arrive, and that the price was 500 dolla came on. After inspection I was told a part needed to be replaced, and it would take an hour for the part to arrive, and that the price was 500 dollars. I was there for 2.25 hours in total and was charged for 4 hours worth of labor. When I called to clarify I was told actual time is not how they charge "its a flat price for the part replacement", however if it had taken 5 hours i surely would have been charged for 5 hours. More
It sounds like most of the other reviewers have had a great experience with these guys in the sales domain- well, SURPRISE SURPRISE. Let's see how they feel about this dealership in a year's time when they come in for service. <br><br>Our experiences with Manhattan Jaguar have been absolutely horrific. Looking for an alternative to Brown's Jaguar at Richmond, we tried this one instead. Big Mistake. They are even worse -these guys actually damaged our vehicle. Our Select Edition VandenPlas had gone in for some small body damage (windshield replacement, door dent) and cosmetic touch-ups. Also for a routine checkup, which necessitated removal of the wheels.<br><br>Here is a list of our frustrations:<br><br>1. They took ages to finish the job (3+ weeks). No courtesy car was provided, of course. Our own insurance company took care of that.<br><br>When they called to say we can finally pick up the car, we found out that:<br><br>2. Our current inspection sticker had been 'misplaced' and not transferred to our new windshield. When we complained, they refused to take responsibility saying that the job was commissioned to another party; yet, it took place at their own premises.<br> <br>2. The door had not been aligned properly after the body work; the edges were so messed up it looked like a Chevy. <br><br>3. Our toddler would have managed a better paint-job: talking about paint drips.<br><br>4. Most annoyingly, our brand new hubs had been dented by the tool they used to take the wheels off. ALL four of them.<br><br>5. They had put oil grime on the oatmeal leather and carpet at the back seats.<br><br>6. They did not clean the car after 3 weeks of servicing and body work. We even had to remove the body work white dust from the moulded grooves of the body ourselves (and yet they claimed that the delay at the end was partly due to cleaning-up)<br><br>7. Then started the real disgrace -- those cheapos refused to have done anything wrong: The inspection sticker, 'nope, not their fault' (there is a thriving black market for those, the police informed us); The paintjob: 'looks fine to us'! The hub dents: 'what dents?'<br><br>8. Customer service? New word for their vocabulary. They were indifferent, unprofessional, ungroomed; they did not even offer us a cup of coffee; they kept us waiting for ever; there was nobody at the reception desk to begin with; the woman at the body shop reception was absolutely incompetent; the boss never replied to our repeated calls.<br><br>It took some shouting for them to get their act together. Only then did they initiate an investigation for the sticker (unsuccessful); they<br>re-aligned the door and repainted it (this took another 2 weeks); they refused to do anything about the hubs, although we showed them recent purchasing receipts ('it must have been those who installed them in the first place').<br><br>Our advice: Manhattan Jaguar will cost you years of your life in stress to say the least. Their dealer should carry a health warning! STAY AWAY! <br> More
