THis dealership was very well organized, customer centric and pleasant to work with. They were helpful and aware of our particular needs which they readily helped us to achieve. They offered to come out to and pleasant to work with. They were helpful and aware of our particular needs which they readily helped us to achieve. They offered to come out to our house to go through the car's systems at our convenience and were eager to help us with understanding the car and its performance. More
It sounds like most of the other reviewers have had a great experience with these guys in the sales domain- well, SURPRISE SURPRISE. Let's see how they feel about this dealership in a year's time when th great experience with these guys in the sales domain- well, SURPRISE SURPRISE. Let's see how they feel about this dealership in a year's time when they come in for service.

Our experiences with Manhattan Jaguar have been absolutely horrific. Looking for an alternative to Brown's Jaguar at Richmond, we tried this one instead. Big Mistake. They are even worse -these guys actually damaged our vehicle. Our Select Edition VandenPlas had gone in for some small body damage (windshield replacement, door dent) and cosmetic touch-ups. Also for a routine checkup, which necessitated removal of the wheels.

Here is a list of our frustrations:

1. They took ages to finish the job (3+ weeks). No courtesy car was provided, of course. Our own insurance company took care of that.

When they called to say we can finally pick up the car, we found out that:

2. Our current inspection sticker had been 'misplaced' and not transferred to our new windshield. When we complained, they refused to take responsibility saying that the job was commissioned to another party; yet, it took place at their own premises.

2. The door had not been aligned properly after the body work; the edges were so messed up it looked like a Chevy.

3. Our toddler would have managed a better paint-job: talking about paint drips.

4. Most annoyingly, our brand new hubs had been dented by the tool they used to take the wheels off. ALL four of them.

5. They had put oil grime on the oatmeal leather and carpet at the back seats.

6. They did not clean the car after 3 weeks of servicing and body work. We even had to remove the body work white dust from the moulded grooves of the body ourselves (and yet they claimed that the delay at the end was partly due to cleaning-up)

7. Then started the real disgrace -- those cheapos refused to have done anything wrong: The inspection sticker, 'nope, not their fault' (there is a thriving black market for those, the police informed us); The paintjob: 'looks fine to us'! The hub dents: 'what dents?'

8. Customer service? New word for their vocabulary. They were indifferent, unprofessional, ungroomed; they did not even offer us a cup of coffee; they kept us waiting for ever; there was nobody at the reception desk to begin with; the woman at the body shop reception was absolutely incompetent; the boss never replied to our repeated calls.

It took some shouting for them to get their act together. Only then did they initiate an investigation for the sticker (unsuccessful); they
re-aligned the door and repainted it (this took another 2 weeks); they refused to do anything about the hubs, although we showed them recent purchasing receipts ('it must have been those who installed them in the first place').

Our advice: Manhattan Jaguar will cost you years of your life in stress to say the least. Their dealer should carry a health warning! STAY AWAY!
More
