FMP responded

So dealer strung me along for 6 months because they returned my truck before they received money from the warranty company and when my truck broke again they would not work on it. But they would not tell me this and so my warranty went out. the 7year 100k and while waiting for this to process and the 6k fix was a 12k transmission fix because the cost went up in those 6months. And in dec 2023 they received payment, and they said a person was from the warranty company was going to look at the truck to start the warranty process. And in Jan 2024 I received the only call I ever got which was them telling me the truck is out of warranty. no info on the audit or anything else. The truck was sitting at the dealer from the time it was in warranty till last week when I picked it up. I was talking to my friend who is a mechanic and he said dealers often times claim that the cannot replicate the issue because they don’t make enough money on certain fixes. For example if dodge says your transmission fix should only take 6 hours but it is known that the transmission is hard to get out and usually takes 12 hours the dealer will almost always miss diagnose your car so they don’t lose and money. I still owe 10k on a truck I have put less than 50k miles on. this dealer is a disappointment to the word (service) I will not got thought this maintenance team ever again and do not recommend. Nobody should be making payments on a car that they can’t use. Almost 6 months at the dealer had my car plus the time it gonna take for me find someone else, plus the time it takes to get on another shops schedule I had to buy another car because of how long this took. they showed no sense of urgency, had no communication, the lady who answers the phone is incredibly rude and nobody had any sort of pride in there job.
