I have been to a number of well known used car lots over the past few weeks in search of a newer car. A dear friend referred me to Lakeview because of the quality of vehicles and they had also noticed a car the past few weeks in search of a newer car. Apparently my friend is a good judge of my taste becasue I feel in love with the 2005 Acura TL, (which now sits in my driveway) I was greeted by the owner and his then his salesman who answered all my questions and did not hesitate to supply a copy of the car fax when I asked for it. All the other lots I'd been to were very sensitive about letting me see the car fax. But not here thanks for all the help and for saving me money by getting me financed thru the credit union. I love of car and I will be sure to send my friends to see Hasko & Jerry. More

I was dealt with fairly and did not have any problems. I'll keep it short. When I bought this car, the finance manager of Lakeview Resale found me a good loan with Chase Bank but he told me the bank needed the sales tax paid in advance as part of the loan. My manager of Lakeview Resale found me a good loan with Chase Bank but he told me the bank needed the sales tax paid in advance as part of the loan. My wife and I thought this was extremely unusual. We were from out of state and sales tax would normally be paid to the New York State DMV. He said it was the banks policy and they would send me check payable to the NYS DMV. 10 days later I contacted Chase Bank and they said this has never been their policy and they knew nothing about it. The bank's fraud division assisted me and Lakeview Resale refunded my "sales tax". Within one week of buying the car, I spent an additional $1800 to replace the electronic control unit and other items. The owner of Lakeview Resale (Jerry) said he would send me a check for $500 for my troubles. They also owed me an extra key. The key can be obtained from the Audi dealer in three days, it took nine weeks. The owner said the check was in the envelope with the key and he apologized for everything. The check was not in the envelope and they will not send it. It took six weeks to get my title from Lakeview Resale. It took so long that my temporary registration expired. The most frustating thing is they told me they had the title but never had time to mail it. Buying a car from from Lakeview Resale Co. was an absolute nightmare. In my 54 years, I have never dealt with a business as fraudulent and deceitful as they are. Buyer beware! More
