It was driven 2k miles and I have Coolant Receipts for the entire time I got it back! The Coolant purchased was Exclusive to VW Vehicles in which I will NEVER own again! But, I guess you think I’d purchase Coolant when I didn’t need it just to throw hard earned Money away right?

May 18th Dropped Car off to correct Timing Chain Tensioner and “Coolant / Hot smell” Aug 7th Purchased aftermarket Coolant Pipe and delivered to Lakeland VW for install. Aug 15th Car about ready for pickup. Aug 19th I Picked Car up. Aug 26th VW sent Tow Truck to my Home to address Water intrusion AND still smelling Hot! Water intrusion was not VW fault. Sunroof Drain detached. Aug 28th I picked car up. No diag as far as “Still smelling Hot” Nov 5th. Reached out to VW, car still overheating! Nov 12th No response to contact on Nov 5th! So, I threaten Attorney Nov 15th I stated it used another Gallon. Nov 21st Finally, Scheduled for service to address Overheating. Nov 27th I was asked to approve (2) Hrs Diagnostic time to find Coolant Leak. Dec. 2nd I was told I had a blown Head Gasket which was not related to the repairs initially made. Really?? As you can see… I also have Documentation and will continue to escalate until Satisfaction is met! Mike

AS IT WAS STATED TO YOU TECH PERFORMED COOLANT PRESSURE TEST AND FOUND THAT THE PIPE WAS LEAKING AFTER REPLACING THE PIPE TECH PRESSURIZED COOLANT SYSTEM, SYSTEM WAS HOLDING PRESSURE, NO INDICATION THAT THE HEAD GASKET WAS A CONCERN. WHEN YOU RETURN AFTER DRIVING 2140 MILE LATER TECH PERFORMED LEAK DETECTOR KIT AND DETRMINED HEADGASKET IS LEAKING IN TO THE COMBUSTION.

So let me see if I can wrap my head around this, you determine the coolant pipe was the problem, I wouldn’t purchased on my own dime, you said it was fixed, but it continued to leak from the day I brought it home? Curious, if you read what you write out loud before you send it. At the end of the day, I don’t doubt the cooling tube was leaking. Just be honest, the diagnosis was not completed thoroughly. Therefore, one small crack in a tube might have been fixed, however, the coolant I was losing Continued to disappear after you “Not So” thoroughly corrected the Issue(s). I’m just curious how this would’ve shaken out if it was your wife’s vehicle? In your position at the dealership, I’m sure it would’ve been rectified at no charge! But, I’m also sure your bonus structure isn’t based on pro bono / Do the right thing for the Customer either. Typical “Car Business” Mentality. Oh and, Nice ALL CAPS replies BTW.
