I had checked a few dealers websites to compare pricing and deal information. I found that lakeland Chrysler Dodge Jeep to have a very user frindly format. Once my wife and I decided on a particular mode and deal information. I found that lakeland Chrysler Dodge Jeep to have a very user frindly format. Once my wife and I decided on a particular model (2012 Dodge Journey), I scanned dealer inventories for the one she wanted. Lakeland had the car in the color combination she wanted in stock, but it was a fancier model than we were looking for. What a surprise it was when I checked the price and found out that it was comprable to the pricing for the lesser models available. I was doubtfull that the internet price was what I would get, because the rebate was twice what the other dealers were telling me. Dale asured me that the price I saw was the price I would pay, and when I got to the dealer, it was. The service was prompt and friendly, and I was throughly pleased with my expierience. If I purchase another Chrysler Dodge or Jeep, I will definately go to Lakeland. KM Wesley Chapel. More

This dealer uses bait and switch advertising and also advertises vehicles at low prices they don't have available or are unwilling to sell. I have had two experiences with this dealer. Last June (2011) I advertises vehicles at low prices they don't have available or are unwilling to sell. I have had two experiences with this dealer. Last June (2011) I was in the market for a Chrysler Town & Country Limited and was looking for a 2001-2007 vehicle. I was searching Craigslist. I found a few vans that interested me and began calling on them to look at them. I called on one van and was given directions to go look at the van. The directions took me to Lakeland Chrysler Dodge Jeep. At no point during the phone conversation did they disclose that the seller was a car dealer nor did they answer the phone in a professional manner disclosing that they were Lskeland Chrysler. On the phone they also said the van was available to view. When we arrived at the dealership they couldn't find the van and tried to switch us into another van. I was specific that I wanted a T&C Limited and they were trying to put us in lesser vans and even suggested we didn't need what we wanted. I kept questioning where was the van they had when I called. They finally admitted after an hour that it had been sold the day before. Last week they sent me a flyer advertising a sale that began on 6/27/12 at 9 am and concluded on 7/01/12 at 6 pm. The flyer described six used cars with stock numbers and payments with the normal foot notes. The flyer also stated that they had vehicles available starting at under 450.00. The ad also said you could purchase this vehicle during the program for 432.00. The featured vehicle is a 1998 Chrysler Town & Country with a foot note stating you had to also pay tax, title and license. I went to Lakeland Chrysler on 6/26/12, presented the ad and requested to look at that 98 Town & Country. I inquired at the sales desk podium and the person at the podium entered something into his computer and he informed me that the van was not there yet but assured me the van would be available the next morning for the sale. I arrived at the dealership the next morning at 8:15 and spoke to the receptionist. She informed me that I had to wait for the sales staff that would arrive at 9 am. At 9 am I met with a salesman named Randy, presented him with the ad and said I wanted to see the advertised van. He went to the sales desk and then told me it would be a few minutes. He then went and waited on another customer. He came back to me after about 20 minutes and said it would be a few more minutes. He returned again after about 20 more minutes and said it will be a few more minutes. After about an hour he informed me that the van was at their sister store across town Lakeland Toyota and I would need to go over there to see it. I drove over to Lakeland Toyota and they immediately tried to switch me into a more expensive vehicle and also said I'd have to pay dealer fees of 699 dollars. I told him the ad didn't say anything about dealer fees. He said they have all kinds of foot notes and legal mumbo jumbo and there are dealer fees. He took the ad and left me on the sales floor for about half an hour before coming back and informing me that this van sold a week ago. I told him that this was false advertising and was illegal. He looked at the ad again and said it wasn't his ad, that it was for the Dodge store and if I had a beef it was with them. I went back to Lakeland Chrysler and told them I felt like I was getting a run around and wanted to see the van. They said it wasn't available and that I should leave. I have reported this to the State of Florida Attorney Generals office and the Better Business Bureau. As a foot note last June I did buy a 2006 Chrysler Town & Country Limited from Jarrett Scott Ford in Winter Haven. There I was treated fairly and with respect. Amazing how differently two dealers can conduct business. More
Great overall experience, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. From the sales staff to the GM and finance manager, a no hassle experience. I called Denise Saturday January 21, 2012 at 10:00 looking to buy two Jeeps, My fi sales staff to the GM and finance manager, a no hassle experience. I called Denise Saturday January 21, 2012 at 10:00 looking to buy two Jeeps, My fiancee wanted a wrangler and I wanted a wrangler unlimited. I advised her of the exact vehicles that we wanted, and the best pricing that I had obtained. We were not interested in the mystic math that car dealers do. We also knew what our trades were really worth. We gave them the lenght of the loan and the car payment we wanted to be at. I researched this nine ways to Sunday, and knew that the dealer was going to have to dig deep to make it happen. Denise got all of the info right on the first try and was back to me within 15 minutes. We spoke several more times about the numbers and finally agreed to go to the dealer at 2:30. When we arrived, the vehicles that we were interested in were parked out front waiting for us to test drive. Both Denise and the GM Mr Coleman came outside to greet us and introduce themselves. Denise is a credit to her organization and very professional at her job. By 4:00pm we were done looking at vehicles and ready to talk numbers. Only took two back and forths before Mr. Coleman asked what will it take for us to make the deal. Both of the new vehicles had some dealer installed options, which we did not figure on (but ended up getting N/C). We gave him our original numbers and advised him that's where we needed to be. With the nod of his head he upped the trade in value on our vehicles to well beyond what any other dealer gave and hit our numbers dead on. When we went to Finance, NO EXTREME tactics to add other extended warranties etc. Here is the surprise, My Fiancee's payment ended up $2 less per month, mine $2 more (she had a little better credit score).I purchase a new car every 2 years because of my job and have purchased a total of 12 cars. This has been the best experience I've had. We shopped at two other dealers for these cars and got the usual dealer BS, leaving in frustration. The only issue is the lenght of time to do all of the paperwork, thanks to banking regulations and government requirements (beyond their control). More
I got a good deal with very little hassle and they actually seemed like they wanted to help me. I will be back for service and I would gladly recommend them to my friends. actually seemed like they wanted to help me. I will be back for service and I would gladly recommend them to my friends. More

The experience we had with this dealership was surreal. We actually never even made it to the dealership because they came to us! I'm in North Florida and called because I was interested in a vehicle they had on the lot. We worked up a phone deal and I told them we couldn't come until the weekend (this was on a Wednesday). I asked if I could put some money down to hold it until then and they offered to bring the vehicle to ME, 150 miles away instead! What?! They offered a trade-in amount on my car sight unseen (based on my description) and came the next day to my wife's place of employment where we did the deal quickly and efficiently. Brian was awesome! Super friendly and a pleasure to work with. Thanks a lot guys! More

Not only was it a very comfortable experience but everyone was very down to earth and eager to please. Salespeople Denise and Armando were very easy to work with. Got an amazing deal, and when its time for a 2nd Dodge I will be back for sure. After the sale the General Manager of the lot came out and sincerely thanked us for the sale. This small step made a big impression. He assured us if we need anything to let him know and I believe he will be there if we need him. More
