When looking at itemized sheet I found that over $3000 was in dealer fees (not tax, tag, title). $1800 reconditioning fee, $1000 paperwork fee, $300 key fee. Don't trust these aggressive salesman and they're inane fees. Go to a reputable dealer that doesn't rip you off. More

Do yourself a favor and make sure the car isn't already sold before you spend 2 + hrs looking, negotiating and having them run your credit only to tell you it has been sold. I got there shortly after they opened my sales person pulled the keys showed me the Journey had a hold of the keys the whole time working with me. We talked and negotiated and went to the point of hard hitting my credit and signing the first part of the paperwork and right before I went to go to do the financial part a Manger comes out to say sorry but the Journey has been sold. Offered to look to see if there was something comparable but he said no and then offered to fill my tank for my troubles. I'm sorry but a tank of gas for my troubles is not gonna help for the almost 5 hours of travel and wasting of my time. On jeep.com looked up jeep gladiators my hus dealership (Lakeland Chryler Dodge Jeep Ram) before going there. Lied not just once but over and over. On jeep.com looked up jeep gladiators my husband and I were interested in. This dealership was showing they had four of them. I called spoke to a saleswoman by name of Kayla giving her the VIN numbers of each of them. She told me she would do her research make sure those jeep gladiators were there before we drive an hour over there. She ended call by saying she would text or call me back shortly after confirming she has them. About 30mins after speaking to her she has another woman call me to confirm a time we would be there. I asked are those gladiators there she replies yes we have tons of gladiators. I said no not just any gladiators does Kayla have the four I gave her the VIN numbers for her reply was yes we have them. We rushed right over there to be on time to see these four gladiators they told me were there. After an hour drive we arrive Kayla comes over telling us no they don't have any of those four gladiators to show us. But she could have them in any day now (other lie). She had no clue where those gladiators were or if they were getting them. She tried to show us other gladiators they have. I told her no like I said on the phone we are only looking for a Sport S with 4.10 axle tow package i stressed on the the phone we want only the Sport S and need 4,10 axle tow package. Why look at anything different we could have went 5 mins down the road from us to look/test drive gladiators we didn't want or need. We drove an hour ready to buy what we wanted and needed. We brought in my new ram truck because of vibration in the rear of the truck… I bought the truck in Ohio and took it to three different dealers with no satisfaction… Everyone seems to blame the tires even the rear of the truck… I bought the truck in Ohio and took it to three different dealers with no satisfaction… Everyone seems to blame the tires even though they have all been replaced on this new truck… I heard that Lakeland Dodge was a good place to take my truck ... I told them on the phone that I needed a loaner or a rental. We waited two hours to get the loaner… That was at 10:00 AM at 3 o’clock my representative called me Mitch and said the truck was riding normal and three different technicians drove the truck on interstate 4 and could not find any vibration… I asked Mitch if he could rotate the tires front to back just to rule out any other issues with the tires… Mitch said he would I never heard back from him that day the next day I called at 1 o’clock in the afternoon left a message ... after leaving my second message with the receptionist at 3 o’clock Mitch finally called me back at 3:30 said that they rotated the tires the three technicians drove the truck again and had no issues… Then he told me they rotated the tires back to the original spot not sure why they would do that… When I went to pick up the truck here’s the funny thing they’ve only driven the truck 13 miles… Draw your own conclusion More

Needless to say we simply walked away. I understand that there are cost involved in reconditioning a vehicle, and that the dealer is entitled to a profit. BUT these COST should be INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE VEHICLE when advertised. NOT something that is added on AFTER the fact. When an advertised vehicle jumps $3500, I consider it to be false advertising. More
