I purchased my ram rebel in December of 2020 I was told by Jason or Josh and Kayla that I will be receiving my floor mats as soon as they come in. I went back in February and I spoke to a manager and he ga by Jason or Josh and Kayla that I will be receiving my floor mats as soon as they come in. I went back in February and I spoke to a manager and he gave me a WE OWE YOU letter and said that I will be receiving them via mail I have not received the mats yet, after numerous calls to the dealership I even spoke with the manager I believe his name is Joel he assured me that we were going to take care of this issue I have not received their follow-up call or feedback call yet I guess after you spend $42,000 of your hard earned money they can't take ownership on floor mats that cost the company less than $200 shame on you Lakeland Dodge! I purchased a Jeep Gladiator this last weekend. I want to spread some differing reviews here. First, the lady at the desk when I arrived was horrid. Zero Stars. I came in off a FB ad and was communicatin spread some differing reviews here. First, the lady at the desk when I arrived was horrid. Zero Stars. I came in off a FB ad and was communicating with someone through messenger, made an appointment for 4pm on the date agreed and I was sent a voucher via text (QR code) and told to show the person at the front desk when I arrive. So I did. Her response, after looking at me in disgust like I bothered her cell phone cruising and said, “yes” with what I consider terrible customer service body language. I shared with her why I was there, showed her the QR code on my phone and she said “What’s that supposed to mean to me”? Really!? Then she looked over at a salesman and said “Logan, can you help this guy”. So off the bat by first impression, I was shocked. Her name I couldn’t tell you. It wasn’t worth my aggravation to ask. She had dark hair, glasses and more attitude than an entire 80s hair band. Second is my salesman. Logan. 5 stars. He did everything from a sakes perspective I would have expected during the sale process. He communicated to his management the best he could between me and them. Third, the sales managers. Zero Stars. I have been buying cars for over 20 years and never keep them longer than 2 sometimes 3 years if I love them. I understand the process and I know it’s a dance. However, make an effort. The first pass we get it, you want full sticker, you don’t want to give me anything for my trade because you are protecting the dealership for your cookies, good job, and for yourself, your commissionable gross if you can hold it. But we all know you’re not getting first pass more than rarely. So as an average consumer with so many options, make the effort to show us something off your price or more for our trade, anything to make me feel like you want to sell me a vehicle and that you don’t want the other dealership, of which there are many, many others to do so. I left that night knowing we were too far apart at second pass and the manager didn’t even want to come see me to try to save the deal so I left and went straight to Jerry Ulm Jeep in Tampa where I landed on another Gladiator. Also, GM, Hercules. 5 stars. Reached out through Logan the next day with a deal I couldn’t refuse after asking why I didn’t have a deal the next morning of Logan. I drove back to Lakeland instead of Tampa to close that deal. Now, they are motivated and I feel like they want my business. Lastly, The Finance Manager, James, zero stars. I received preapproval through my credit union ahead of returning. I had not done this before. I was armed with my preapproval that I emailed to them at noon and settled on a 6:30pm sign and drive so they had time to prepare and have the vehicle ready. I signed all paperwork with 5 star Logan, then was finally ready to sign and leave. James came out and immediately asked for a check. I was confused as my bank said my preapproval was all they needed. James wanted me to let them do my loan and assign it through GTE. Well, I’m schooled more than most and understand my bank would have to then pay the dealer a kickback every month. I LOVE my bank manager and wouldn’t do that to her or me as a member. After a call from banker, it’s now hours after the bank has closed, she spoke with James and he didn’t want to budge. She can’t cut a check without a purchase order and he won’t create a purchase order without a check. We are at impasse at this point. I get on the phone after she spoke with James and just said, it’s ok, I’ll just walk. I can buy a Jeep anywhere. Magically that statement attracted another finance manager who wispeted to James and then now, they will talk to the GM, 5 Star Hercules, to ask for an exception. To which, of course he made an “exception” and we moved forward. Basically, Janes was aggravated once I didn’t want to let them originate the loan and the rest of the process was the worst experience in a dealership I’ve ever had. It was awkward and I couldn’t get out with my new Jeep fast enough. I wasn’t given any of the things you expect with a $60K car purchase. No vehicle care kit, no coupon for service book, no nothing really. Just sign this and get out was how I felt I was being treated at that point. They didn’t appreciate at all that I bought a vehicle from them or that handed over $6K. I’m sure not everyone makes it easy for you (The Dealer). Thanks to unknown finance manager that saved my deal as James would have just watched me walk, he clearly wants some small kickback over the $60K from sale. Thank you to Logan and Hercules for making this on average, a 3 star experience. I love my Gladiator. More
If I could give less than one star I would. I brought my 2018 Jeep in for battery replacement and an oil change on 6/17. While checking in I was told I had two recalls on my vehicle, one of which was suppos 2018 Jeep in for battery replacement and an oil change on 6/17. While checking in I was told I had two recalls on my vehicle, one of which was supposed to be repaired on a previous visit where I was told they didn’t know how to repair a clutch. Really? Signed the car in with Dana and was told it may take a day or 2, which was ok. 5 days go by before I hear anything from the dealership. Was told that the battery would be replaced, and the clutch would be changed out. Was never given a quote for the cost of the non-recall work, not a time frame. I was out of town and errantly assumed it would be ready by Saturday on my return. Of course, never heard anything back from the dealership. Called and left a message on 7/26 ( 9 days after we dropped it off) and never got a message back. Called Monday 6/28 and never got a call back. Called Tuesday 6/29 and after haranguing the call staff was able to talk to Mike, the service manager, and was told the part for my clutch recall, was ordered and would not arrive until 6/30. My wife than harangued the dealership for 2.5 hrs on the phone and was finally able to get a rental as I had no car and work in Tampa. Again was given no timetable. Called on 7/1 to talk to Dana and finally got a call back just before 5p that my Jeep was being worked on and would be ready 7/2. She stated she would be out and Melissa would call me when it was ready. Of course Friday midday came and had not heard anything, so I called and spoke to Noelle, and was told that IF my car was done before 7p she would call me, and of course I never hear anything. Saturday 7/3 I went into the dealership and spoke with Greg, where I was informed that my car had not even been looked at and was sitting in the lot all week. Was upset to say the least as we are now sitting on more than 2 weeks to change a battery, oil change and clutch replacement. I asked if the oil change was done and he said it was not I there to do an oil change. I was assured that my car would be done 7/5, by midday. 7/5 comes and I hear nothing until 6pm. Car is ready. When I go in the car is not ready. I was told that the work was all under warranty. I was not given a bill or anything stating what work was done. My car was finally brought up, I was given my keys, and nothing else, sent out. Greg said he could take the keys for the rental car and they would return. After almost 3 weeks Inassumed this nightmare was done, but nope. Was informed by Enterprise the following day that the car was not returned. Over the ensuing 3 days it was found that these buffoons moved the rental car on their lot, and lost the keys. Greg also then informed me that the battery was not under warranty and how did I want to handle that. This service department is a disaster. I sent an email detailing this experience to the GM of the dealership and never received a response, which tells me the crappy attitude starts at the top. I was lied to, and mismanaged from the get go. There is no actual service in this department. Everyone of the employees from the manager on down should be fIred and replaced. I will inform anyone and everyone I come across what a wreck this facility is and to avoid using there service department and to not by a vehicle there. Caveat Emptor. More

Their customer service needs extreme work. It’s draining having to take my car up to them, I will definitely consider taking my vehicle in and using another dealership More
Buying a used vehicle? They even left gum on the seat and instead of cleaning it up they sprayed black dye over it. They seemed to think my expectations of a clean vehicle was to high and instead of fixing it they offered me 100 dollars to take time out of another of my days to have it cleaned at a detailer of my choice. They seemed to think that 100 dollars would be more than enough but every detailer I found was closer to 200 just to clean the interior. I watched the detailer steam clean the vehicle and almost threw up with how disgusting the carpet was after the dealer had supposedly cleaned it. As for my dangerous and illegally plugged tire? I had to take my jeep in 3 times just to have them finally confirm it was a plug and not a patch like they kept insisting because according to them "they inspect the vehicle before selling it". And instead of replacing the tire since it was damaged they insisted on only patching it with an approved repair patch. Cherry on top of that was the service guy was upset and argumentative that I wanted a service right up of what they had done to my tire because in his words " they didn't charge me for the patch so why should I get a service record of it". Obviously after their shady tactics in selling me the vehicle I wanted proof they had worked on it incase something else happens. I blame no one in particular at the dealership and just have a general annoyance at the whole business now and will never use them again. More

When looking at itemized sheet I found that over $3000 was in dealer fees (not tax, tag, title). $1800 reconditioning fee, $1000 paperwork fee, $300 key fee. Don't trust these aggressive salesman and they're inane fees. Go to a reputable dealer that doesn't rip you off. More
Do yourself a favor and make sure the car isn't already sold before you spend 2 + hrs looking, negotiating and having them run your credit only to tell you it has been sold. Cause that is what they did to sold before you spend 2 + hrs looking, negotiating and having them run your credit only to tell you it has been sold. Cause that is what they did to me. I call the evening before and texted the morning of before driving over an hour to look at a Journey. I got there shortly after they opened my sales person pulled the keys showed me the Journey had a hold of the keys the whole time working with me. We talked and negotiated and went to the point of hard hitting my credit and signing the first part of the paperwork and right before I went to go to do the financial part a Manger comes out to say sorry but the Journey has been sold. Offered to look to see if there was something comparable but he said no and then offered to fill my tank for my troubles. I'm sorry but a tank of gas for my troubles is not gonna help for the almost 5 hours of travel and wasting of my time. Do yourself a favor if you plan on doing business with them ask first if the vehicle has been sold. More
