the service center is absolutely terrible! ! i took my car up there to get my ac repaired, they claimed it was just clogged and charged around $500 for that. when i came to pick up the car, the ! i took my car up there to get my ac repaired, they claimed it was just clogged and charged around $500 for that. when i came to pick up the car, they said the car was dead and they had to jump it off. i knew i needed a battery so i requested them to put in a new one and they did (totaling $948) i drove the car for 2 days and the car wouldn’t crank up, which is an issue i never had before. i called the dealership and told them and they said to take it back up there and they would “take care of it” (it wasn’t driveable so i had to get a tow on my own dime) it took days to get an update in which they said it was my starter, they replaced the starter and claimed there was another part called the TIPM that also went bad. at that point i didn’t care i just wanted a working car, it had been about 2 weeks with no car at this point. i got charged $1077 for the starter and TIPM on top of what i originally paid for my AC and battery. after they replaced the TIPM and starter, the car only drove for another 2 days! i called again and asked them for a refund because obviously those parts were not needed and did not solve the issue! they told me a manager would call back and reach out to me, i waited a week with no call, no update on the car, nothing. i called after the week was over and they said “ we’ve been taking care of you so we’ll continue to” as if me paying $2000 and having no working car is “taking care” of someone. they towed the car to the dealership this time, weeks have gone by and i still have not heard any other updates on the car. i called once again asking for a refund and they said they’d call back, they never did. i went in person to clean out my car, i asked for a refund again to which Gary said i have to speak with Joe. Conveniently Joe wasn’t there that day. i called back 2 days later and still no Joe, still no refund. having no car has cost me majorly. im over this entire situation and i had to get a NEW CAR (not from this dealership obviously they cannot be trusted with vehicles) as i was spending $100+ a week on ubers to get to and from work, the store, etc. not to mention i had to pay the car they were “working” on off. all in all an AC repair costs me nearly $6000, a month without a car, and a general sense of anger. all i’m asking for is a REFUND for the car YALL messed up. i would NEVER recommend this dealership for sales OR service. absolutely terrible and inconsiderate of their customers time and money. This business is absolute dumpster juice. Spent more money in fuel driving my car back and forth on the same issue than it was ever worth...to only never get it fixed. Had to take Jeep Manufacturer to court for breach of warranty. Then Mark Williams told me that he will not service my car ever again...even though I purchased an extended warranty through Lake Keowee Dodge. Never received a refund for that. Dude is making tons of money off of regular people like us just trying to have something good to drive...then he could care less when a problem comes your way. I would have given zero stars if it was an option. More
Gary Williams in the service department and mechanic Carter are great! In June 2023 my 2012 RAM 1500 5.7L hemi engine started running rough and developed the hemi engine camshaft/lifter tick. Prior Carter are great! In June 2023 my 2012 RAM 1500 5.7L hemi engine started running rough and developed the hemi engine camshaft/lifter tick. Prior to taking my truck to Lake Keowee Dodge, I was already 99% sure my engine had a camshaft/lifter failure, and Carter’s tests confirmed the need for camshaft and lifter replacement. Camshaft/lifter replacement requires a significant amount engine tear down and reassembly, and I was a bit apprehensive about trusting my vehicle to Keowee Dodge. Mechanic Carter’s repair job was excellent! I highly recommend Carter for camshaft/lifter replacement. When I picked up my truck, the interior, exterior, and engine compartment looked exactly like the day I brought it in, and by this, I mean all was clean and good. Four months and a little over 4000 miles since the repair, the engine is running great. Gary and Carter scheduled a start and completion date and the work was completed by the promised date. I read some negative reviews about service repairs at this dealer, but my experience was great. The total repair cost was high, but the workmanship also rates high. More
Don’t even think about buying anything from here if want any service to be done. If you don’t intend on using their service department you will probably be okay. Never in my life have I been treated so rudely. Had my vehicle here for service and in less than 700 miles the parts were installed incorrectly and it failed. They claim to be under warranty. I purchased my third Chrysler and Kernsersvill Chrisler Kernersville NC. Lake Keowee doesn't want to help a customer who relocated here. 26,000 miles 2 year old truck they won't do warranty work on my 35 Kernersville NC. Then to rub salt it the wound they had the nerve to text me to see if I was willing to sell my truck to them because one of their customers wanted that truck and can't get one due to supply chain. Their service department is unprofessional. Thank goodness I called Chrysler care and filed a complaint. Lake Keowee Chrysler is so bad, I was at the point I would never buy another Chrysler. All of this over their refusal to warranty a part. They wanted to charge me $400 for a part covered under warranty. I took my truck, never to be back. I ordered the part for $45 from Mopar last night. Stay as far away from these guys as you can. Not sure why they would treat a customer with a warranty this way. Read the reviews, this seems to be their mode of operation. They wouldn't even give me a ride to work, I had to drive 2 vehicles in the morning to drop my 2021 off and had to ask a friend from work to take me to pick it up. Still broken 5 error codes, a 4x4 that will not go into 4-wheel drive, Cruise control disabled, Sway control disabled, traction control disabled and ABS error all over a failed right rear speed sensor. a $45 dollar part. Working with Chrysler care, I will be taking my Trucks and business to Piedmont Chrysler. More
We wouldn't recommend this dealership for service or sales. Our experience was primarily in service however we had a terrible experience when speaking with two seperate sales managers after asking for t sales. Both managers said they would ask the owner to call us - to this day we never received a call. This dealership does not keep their word on work performed and price quoted. Be prepared for several phone calls stating they found something else wrong and there will be an additional. They will not be honest in regards to what they tell you on the phone and what they put on the invoice. They fraudulently recorded our mileage incorrectly on the invoice so our warranty expires sooner. They lied about what happened to our vehicle on our invoice versus what was told to us via phone conversation. They lied about test driving our vehicle. We have reason to believe they destroyed our engine. Buyer beware. More
