Micah and the mechanic tried to upsell me to perform work on my car that was not needed. They said I needed a new battery and it was a month old, clearly marked. Battery was checked by two places. I came to this dealership because we are looking for a reputable place to maintain our cars and purchase a new vehicle. I came to Lake Ford to get my Ford checked because I have car problems, and I thought that Ford technicians could easily solve my problem. I explained to Micah my car problems and requested to please have my car problems, and I thought that Ford technicians could easily solve my problem. I explained to Micah my car problems and requested to please have my vehicle fully checked and/or run a diagnostic test. Not only did I have to call later that same day to check the status of my vehicle, but my Ford was not fully checked. According to them, since my car does not have a check engine light that means my car runs fine. The only reason why I left the remaining stars 2 is because I was not charged for the test drive (thankfully) and the person who dropped me off home was kind. That same day I decided to become a Ford technician myself and performed a multi-point inspection and found that my catalytic converter has a hole which is causing loss of engine power and poor fuel economy. More
They sold me a 2020 for Explorer with transmission issues, cabin pressure issues….etc.Then they are trying to talk me into keeping the vehicle.
