Buying a car is not my favorite thing to do as it is time consuming and costly. I do not enjoy pushy fake car salesmen. For the first time in my car buying career I somewhat enjoyed the experience. Honestly, Heather, Nick and Braeger Ford deserve the highest survey score - for their professionalism as well as that friendly, 'normal' touch which is so often missing from many, even the smallest, business transactions. Additionally, since a car is one of the largest investments one can make, other than a home, being able to have a logical conversation about the details of the transaction, both before and during the sale, is extremely important. All information was offered in a straightforward and sensible way. Never did I encounter any 'hidden costs', nobody at the dealership attempted pressure me to purchase any 'extra' items for this car. 10 years ago I graduated from university and moved to work in Europe, I returned home to SE Wisconsin (50 miles south of Milwaukee) to essentially 'start over' and begin a new job: My wife and I sold our 'older' car in Europe, I packed my bags and headed back to the US to start work, while she is finishing her work contract abroad and will soon be joining me in the US. That is why the entire car buying process became my task. Never before, even in Europe had I, nor my wife, purchased a new car. Though having had several good used cars in the past, we opted to buy - a very well researched - brand new Ford. We had heard from many individuals 'horror' stories, ranging from comical to the very annoying, when it came to the process of purchasing a new car in the US - any make or model. While visiting other Ford dealers in the area, I encountered just that: the 'high pressure sale', the 'add ons': paint protection, custom painted pin stripes, nitrogen inflated tires - the list goes on and on. I also was subjected to the: 'I'll talk to my manager and see what I can do'... from the sales person, and left to sit for far too long, often wondering if I shouldn't just walk out and stop wasting my time. I am told by my wife that I am not a cynical or impatient person, however, the experience at many, too many, other dealers offered was at times was quite distasteful, sometimes as far as disrespectful. That was until I decided to take a ride to Braeger Ford in Milwaukee, WI - Met Nick Larson, sat down in the first vehicle they had in the showroom and was impressed with the straight forward pricing, as well as the color and options my wife and I were seeking. So, we quickly agreed on a very fair price - never being pushed or pressured in any way. The next day later after speaking with Heather about financing: she found a very good interest rate that fit our budget, plus the length of the loan we sought. I signed the paperwork to finalize the deal... And, I was introduced to the features of the car in great detail by Nick, then drove home in THE new car I had wanted to buy and simultaneously: impressed and amazed how simple such a complex process can be - if you are able to find such good individuals, who listen to your needs and work with you to fulfill your wishes based on your budget, automotive needs and wants, then Nick and Heather at Braeger are the ones to seek out. Having worked in the the 'complex business world' of Eastern Europe, where everything from health insurance to buying a simple $20 pre-paid mobile phone was littered with a pile of useless documents, restrictive warranties, and other unpleasantries: I can be honest and say that many dealers I visited before arriving at Braeger, used strikingly similar techniques to those I met abroad, pressuring me to buy the most options, mainly dealer installed items at inflated prices, but then leaving the showroom with much less car and money at the end of it all. Nick and Heather at Braeger did just the opposite. I highly recommend them and thank them for their great work! More

I found the car I eventually ended up getting online and when I went to look at it, Braeger Ford we very helpful. Rik even let me look at the car after the dealership closed. No one I know have been to this dealership before, so I had no idea what to expect. But I had looked on their website for some used cars prior going there, so I kind of knew what I wanted, but still didn't had no idea what to expect. Once we got there, we were greeted by a very nice man, Nick Sigel. Very pleasant and friendly. He wasn't pushy and let us walk around by ourselves (which I really appreciate). Once we got towards the end of the lot, he came back to check on us. Nothing really caught my eyes until I saw this silver Nissan Altima. I initially wanted a Mazda, but after giving that a test drive, I decided to give the Nissan a try instead. Fell in love with the Nissan, but wanted to talk to my parents about it first. Again, Nick excused himself and offered us some water. It was very hot that day! After giving it much consideration, I told Nick I was interested in Nissan and he setup another appointment as I had to leave early for a wedding. On the next appointment, I brought in my old car to see their estimation was for a trade in. Their price was slightly lower than what I had hoped for, but went along with it after they showed the final price, discount, saving etc. Dan McKnight helped put some sense into my head as I still was a bit hesitant at that time. Overall, the process was pretty quick. Two days later, I signed all the paperwork and got my car! This was my first time purchasing a car under my name, so the paperwork bit was a little overwhelming. Michelle was very helpful too in explaining some of the terms and coverage. I was a little too excited that I didn't realize my name was spelled incorrectly (just a tiny bit). So my advice is just to check all those little details before leaving to avoid any additional work on your part. Again, my visit was very pleasant. Nick was friendly, helpful, and honest. I am not a great negotiator but the price they set was definitely a great deal. Very happy and satisfied customer. Would definitely recommend it! More
