I did not have a good experience here and honestly I wish I would have taken my business somewhere else. The dealership let me take the car home which was great. However, I came in the next morning after bei I would have taken my business somewhere else. The dealership let me take the car home which was great. However, I came in the next morning after being told by the salesperson that I would just need to sign a few papers and that it wouldn’t take long to finish my purchase. Unfortunately, the process ended up taking over four hours, which caused me to miss two afternoon appointments. Had I been told upfront that it would take that long, I would have arranged childcare and adjusted my schedule accordingly. I understand delays can happen, and while frustrating, this alone was not the main issue. The most concerning part of the experience occurred during the paperwork process. I noticed that my credit application contained significant inaccuracies- it reflected approximately double my actual monthly income and indicated that my home was fully paid off, which is not true. When I pointed this out, I was told they would change the paper work on their end, and that it must have been a "system error". That response was extremely troubling, as accuracy in financial and credit reporting should be a priority. What made this even more frustrating is that had the dealership simply taken my husband’s information as a co-applicant, our combined income would have exceeded what was inaccurately reported on the application. This was never about qualifying for credit- it was about the dealership not taking the time to gather accurate information and submit a truthful application. Finally, the salesperson offered a full tank of gas as part of the experience, but the vehicle was only filled to about three-quarters. While minor compared to the other issues, it added to the overall feeling of carelessness and lack of transparency. We are typically very loyal to dealerships we trust and stay with them long-term. Unfortunately, due to the lack of transparency, inaccurate financial reporting, and overall experience, we will be exploring other options when purchasing our next vehicle. More
