She kept me in the loop with the status of the car while my daughter was onsite dealing with the actual issue. I appreciate her working to get the problem resolved so that my daughter could head back home which was a 5 hour drive. More

Have had various experiences here mostly with the service department and as of today we will not go back there. I have two remaining free oil changes on my Ram but will pay to have them done elsewhere. Qui department and as of today we will not go back there. I have two remaining free oil changes on my Ram but will pay to have them done elsewhere. Quick overview - 2021 they had to do some work on my wife's Dodge Dakota - when she picked it up to go home, the left rear wheel came off in the middle of US 90. The mechanic confessed he may not have tightened the lug nuts after tire rotation. After repairs were made I was not comfortable...the GM stepped up to make it right we worked a deal for a new car that was quite satisfactory - however, even with that he tried to rope me into financing even when he knew I was paying cash. Fast forward to last week. My wife had her vehicle serviced (oil change etc) and on the drive to Gainesville the hood pops open...luckily it didn't completely open but it scared the xxxx out of her for that to happen on the interstate. We spoke to the service manager, again "what can I do to make it right". He offered a full detail. Okay, why not. Dropped it off at 4 pm yesterday with the discussion having been it would take about 4 hours. We planned to pick it up early afternoon today. IT WASN'T READY UNTIL 4:30 THIS AFTERNOON. Service manager didn't bother to alert our advisor nor us that there were cars ahead of us! Once again, his answer? What can I do to make it right. Please. We are done. Rountree-Moore Ford, though part of the same ownership group has a much better service department and communicates! This dealership must spend an inordinate amount of money "making it right" for mistakes made in the service department. Sorry - you have lost my business for good. The only good thing here is the service advisor Blaine. If you have to go there, ask for her. She genuinely cares about her customers. More
We r enroute from Arkansas to Tampa and our 2 year old truck broke down, Luckily for us it broke down at Lake city dealership. We received such outstanding service in all areas that we felt we had to give truck broke down, Luckily for us it broke down at Lake city dealership. We received such outstanding service in all areas that we felt we had to give a shout out! Joe, the service manager and Tricia the Lane manager exceeded our expectations and got us repaired and back on the road (to make the wedding) within 2 hours! A young man (salesman) named Cooper was the most welcoming, respectful and pleasant young man and we highly recommend if you are in the market for a vehicle, go see Cooper!! Thank you again to this outstanding dealership for being above the bar!! More
Let me start by saying never use this service department. We have not had a truck for a month now and the only problem is a blown head gasket. When me and my fiancé call all they do is give us the run around We have not had a truck for a month now and the only problem is a blown head gasket. When me and my fiancé call all they do is give us the run around and tell us both different stories. They called me today and told me the inspector had already been out they were calling the extended warranty company to see if they were going to cover it and would call me right back. They did not call me right back so my fiancé called and they told him the inspector wouldn’t be out for 48 to 72 hours. So which story is it? We are definitely trading this truck in once it is fixed which we made known from the beginning. But we will not be doing business with lake city dodge jeep again. And I surely will never recommend them. More
We have a 2018 Dodge 3500 Ram and came to your dealership in answer to a flier you sent out. The add was for an oil change for our vehicle including the oil and filters and a multipoint inspection. We were g in answer to a flier you sent out. The add was for an oil change for our vehicle including the oil and filters and a multipoint inspection. We were greeted by what seemed like friendly people till you get the bill. The add was $89.95 for all the above. When it was time to pay the cashier, the bill had gone to $156.00+. Okay, a mistake was made. The final bill contained all kinds of gotcha extra charges. So we settled at $113.00. There was a video sent out and I had hoped to go over it before the truck was off the lift. The mechanic pointed out that the fuel filters were at zero life left. But no one came to us to let us know that fuel filters were not in the deal. Had we known this, we would have paid extra to have it done. So, I was talked into this by a wife looking to make life easier for her 74 year old husband. But what I got was about half of the work that a service of a one-ton truck should have, a big bill ,and sent out with fuel filters that were depleted and might just leave us on the side of the road before we can get home. I now get to crawl over the engine to service the top fuel filters and underneath it to get to the bottom fuel filters. No real problem if you are a younger man and got a lift in a big shop to make that job easy. While there, we got a note inquiring to see if we would be interested in trading in our vehicle. Just in case you can't figure this one out, a new vehicle is a big decision. A lot of trust is needed to enter a long-term relation with a dealer. I would not return to your dealer ship if you would trade even! Your special was merely a come on to bring people in. But you did exactly half the work needed to service a 3500 truck. You deceive and misrepresent your service! Why would anyone buy from you? In summary, You could have sold more service, but no one ask me! You could have sold me a set of new tires, but no one asked me. My truck is 5 years old with 45K miles on it and you might have gotten a deal, but after not asking us about the filters, and handing us back the truck, we were done. So you lose a customer! . More
