Our Mazda was taken in on January 22nd. We had general service completed but reported a noise from passenger rear---sounded just like the driver side when the shock had deaden out. Was told it wasn't the shock, and a "bushing" had to be ordered. Called February 17th--told the part was ordered and just hadn't come in. Called February 28th was told, by Jamie Prager, the part had actually not been ordered and should be there Monday. Took the car in Tuesday, came back with same noise. Had to take Steve Smacznaik for a ride so he could listen to noise. He diagnosed a bad shock--same thing I inquired about back on January 22nd. Was told on January 22nd by Jamie, that if it was a shock that could cause poor tire wear--but since it wasn't I was fine to travel on it. However, it was a shock and so I inquired about tire wear with Steve. Said he would check--no direct answer to tire wear question. Finally when the shock was replaced, I went to pick up the car and who ever drove it left a dirty/empty white Styrofoam coffee cup in the cup holder. If I would have put a customer through the events of the last month and a half, I would have made sure the care was ready to go. Not leave trash in it. Not to mention the sticker that was put in our car for our next date of service says 7-16-14. We've always been told by this service department that we should change our oil every 3,000 miles/ 3 months. So now, I can't even trust that reminder sticker and information is correct! More
Service was an oil change at the attached Quick Lane facility. I especially appreciate being allowed to inspect the underbody while on the lift. Through his sharp observation, I was able to schedule a minor repair at the adjoining dealership garage, avoiding a potential road problem. This is also a show car, and gets a complete underbody judging at national shows, and leak and messcould have really messed us up in the tally. More

I have always been very pleased with the service and friendliness of the people in the service department. I will continue to have my vehicle serviced as necessary with this dealership. Brought my Chevrolet Tahoe to Laird Noller on whim, I knew it needed a thermostat and my spouse needed the car ASAP. I spoke with the Service Manager, Steve who said they would get it done for me. I dropped it off with Wade first thing in the morning and was able to hand the keys to my wife over my lunch hour. Speedy service, no hassles, and quality work, all from a dealership that doesn't even sell the brand of my vehicle. I will definitely use Laird Noller for service on all my vehicles from here on out! I have had several services done with Laird Noller's service department since I bought a used car from their dealership a few months back. Every time they have provided timely service and great customer service. They have stuck to doing work which is covered under my service contract, so there has been no hidden costs or surprises. I started building my relationship with the people in the service department from the day I bought my used vehicle, and I immediately felt that I could trust them and their services. I've had several over the phone and in person dealings with Wade, and he has become my go to guy. He learned my schedule and always has things done on my time. This is the best shop I've visited in Lawrence and I will continue to use them beyond my service agreement. More
Steve and his colleagues made sure my car was fixed right, as quickly as possible, and he stayed on the phone for a very long time, to get the necessary information required to get my extended warranty right, as quickly as possible, and he stayed on the phone for a very long time, to get the necessary information required to get my extended warranty to cover the cost of the repairs. As we found out, it did cover the repairs and more that I thought it would cover, so I am getting more than one thing fixed under warranty. I am a very happy motorist! More
