Actually had 2 cars at Laird Noller Topeka at the same time. One was in collision shop the other in the service department. If I were only rating the collision shop it would be a five star review as they time. One was in collision shop the other in the service department. If I were only rating the collision shop it would be a five star review as they were very professional and did excellent work. The service department on the other hand was so poor that I will never be back to the Topeka location. Really I can't even say it's the fault of the service department but rather my service advisor Wakeen. Quoted me more for the repair than any other dealer in the area including Laird Noller in Lawrence, but no other dealer could get me in immediately so I went with it. Then was lied to several times about when the car would be completed. When the car was returned it had more than 100 miles put on it and it appears that they locked the keys in it at some point as the top of the driver's door is now bent out as it a lock smith had to open the door. Pointless to complain as Wakeen had already proven honesty is not something important to him. I will just never return and do my best to warn all I can before they take their car in service at the Topeka location. More
Absolutely would not recommend this dealership! !! Had a scheduled appointment to come look at a specific vehicle, I was told that the vehicle was there. My wife and I drove 2hrs to get it, when arr !! Had a scheduled appointment to come look at a specific vehicle, I was told that the vehicle was there. My wife and I drove 2hrs to get it, when arriving the salesman said he couldn’t find the car and then proceeded to give us the run around. Come to find out an employee had the vehicle for the weekend. We ended up getting frustrated and leaving. We went to another dealership not affiliated with them and purchased a vehicle from them instead! More
I don't even know where to start with this LESS THAN PLEASANT experience today. Let's just say, that it was the worst service experience and 6 1/2 hours that we will never get back. I scheduled a prot PLEASANT experience today. Let's just say, that it was the worst service experience and 6 1/2 hours that we will never get back. I scheduled a protective coating service and an oil change to get done on my car that I bought new site unseen. When I bought the car, they promised us a loaner car to take off site to go grab some lunch and buzz around while it was getting coated. When my husband showed up at 9:30 am, the service department said the car wasn't even on the schedule. They blamed the poor sales guy who was out at his mother's funeral and that it was his fault. Also, do you think they upheld their end about the loaner car? UMMMM NO!!!! My husband tried to get updates throughout the morning on how it was going, only to get an attitude from a cocky desk guy who told him only about 10 more minutes. Then finally at 2:45pm it made it to the lift for the oil change. Finally at almost 4:00pm my car was "ready". When my husband went out to look the car over there was pink soap running down the back hatch. He went to find the manager to show him the "quality of work" that his people did and all the manager said was "sorry" never making any effort or wanting to make it right. My husband was also promised a full tank of gas before he left. Do you think that happened? xxxx no! He left with only the half a tank of gas which was still in it from the drive up there this morning. Unfortunately, because of this horrible day of customer service, Laird Knoller has now lost a repeated customer who has bought the last 5 suv's and trucks sight unseen from them, not to mention the multiple people we have referred to your store from the Wichita area. Worst service experience ever. I am disappointed that I had to give you even a 1 star rating because you don't even deserve that!!!! More
Cordaryl Bank is a stellar man! I looked all over the nation for a specific vehicle and negotiated with around 4 or 5 salesman before I encountered Laird Noller Ford in Topeka. I had salesman at other nation for a specific vehicle and negotiated with around 4 or 5 salesman before I encountered Laird Noller Ford in Topeka. I had salesman at other places that couldn't respond to a text or call within two days, couldn't answer basic questions, or were just down right disrespectful. I got into contact with Cordaryl about a vehicle that had popped up. It wasn't at their dealership yet but was about to be processed. I was able to get my million+ questions answered, purchase price, trade in price, and the vehicle held for me all from home about 250 miles away. The vehicle had some issues that was a result of work from the previous dealer, but Cordaryl kept me posted. He answered texts same day, answered calls before they rang, and was all around patient. As soon as he got possession of the vehicle, he had it cleaned, certified, and high quality pictures taken and sent to me. I test drove it and inspected every single detail. He left nothing out. I knew of every single potential issue before ever coming down and he was super honest. He let me do my thing and I was able to purchase the vehicle! When it came time to do the paperwork, there were 0 surprises. No add on fees that weren't already discussed, no deceptive tactics, nothing. Just a straight up honest business. When you are sitting in their lobby, you can tell they have a good and helpful culture, not the old pushy salesman stereotype. Finally, after buying the vehicle, I drove it about 400 miles before getting home. Unfortunately, the check engine light came on and it over heated. I texted Cordaryl and he responded within the hour. Mind you, his job is technically done. Yes the vehicle is certified, but he made the sale and CONTINUED to serve me. We discussed our options and I couldn't get the vehicle serviced locally because there were all booked a week out or I couldn't get a hold of any one. Once again, the man, the myth, the legend, Cordaryl sent a trailer the same day to pickup up my vehicle and take it back 250 miles to get worked on. I had it back the same week, the drove it themselves to make sure everything was corrected and I spoke with Greg Hanna about the issues. Based on my in depth research and what he found, I believe they 100% treated me with honesty and integrity. The issues were not their fault and could not have been found ahead of time. TL;DR: Cordaryl is a straight up honest guy who will look out for you. He does a great job reading your personality and learning how to work with you. If you have any questions, he's the man. Tell him I sent you and don't forget to get a Cafe Vanilla coffee, it's amazing. Cordaryl, if you read this, I sincerely thank you for your respect and time. I feel blessed and appreciate. I pray that God blesses your career and your personal life! More
Worse customer service ever! I was treated like a criminal when I took my 2021 Mazda CX-5. My car used. Quart of oil at under 5,000 miles. Was accused of draining the oil out of my car! Car is still criminal when I took my 2021 Mazda CX-5. My car used. Quart of oil at under 5,000 miles. Was accused of draining the oil out of my car! Car is still using oil! Service dept said it was normal. I will never buy another car from this dealership ever!! More
As we traveled across country in our RV with our two cats and a dog, the check engine light came on. Laird Noller truck services took us without an appointment, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it all in onl and a dog, the check engine light came on. Laird Noller truck services took us without an appointment, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it all in only four hours. Because of their excellent and prompt attention, we will make it to our destination in time for the funeral that sent us on this trip. You are very much appreciated by these very stressed and weary travelers who will not be repeat customers only because we will likely not stop in Topeka again. Cause if we did, we’d be loyal customers, for sure. Hats off to your whole team!! More

Lied to me about replacement engine they put in my Escape - it’s the same design of engine they took out. They told me the engine had been redesigned and the problem corrected, which was a big fat lie! - it’s the same design of engine they took out. Discussed price for vehicle - 25k Billing went up to 31k (6k increase) Ended with paying 29k with a 3k down payment. (All financed at dealership) My question here is, how do you go from finalizing on 25k to payments starting at 29k with a down payment? Vehicle had broken turn signal which they fixed but didn't get to drive vehicle until 2-3 days later. Additionally, no extra key fob, and no spare tire. Lastly, vehicle had only 1/4 tank of gas and low air pressure in tires upon pick up. You would think with these things considered, that the listed price of 25.5k could go down further but I couldn't get a 24.5k. Lessons were learned. Nothing I can do now and only wish I could go back in time. I will ensure I don't get screwed like this again. Moral of the story, be careful and don't get so excited that you get blindsided by the product that you really want. This all was 1 year ago, and It took time for me reflect appropriately. I hope this helps someone. More
