I’ve been a longtime customer of this dealership, having purchased and serviced my vehicle here. That’s why I’m especially disappointed by how I was treated during a recent attempt to redeem a Kelley Blue B purchased and serviced my vehicle here. That’s why I’m especially disappointed by how I was treated during a recent attempt to redeem a Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offer (KBB ICO). My KBB ICO was for $8,475. Instead of verifying the condition of my car as expected, the dealership defaulted to a wholesale valuation and offered just $5,000. No side-by-side comparison or explanation was provided to justify the drastic reduction. After a tense discussion, the offer was bumped to $7,000—still below the KBB value and still with no documentation to explain why. To make matters worse, I didn’t even receive the check at the time. I was told it had to be signed by the owner and wouldn’t be ready until Friday or Monday. That delay only added to my frustration. According to their own website and the KBB ICO policy, dealers are required to honor the Instant Cash Offer if the information provided is accurate—or at least use the KBB system to justify a revised amount. Instead, I felt like I was dealing with a bait-and-switch. In fact, the dealership even emailed me saying “Consider your vehicle SOLD,” which made this treatment feel even more misleading. They’ve since asked how they can regain my trust. Frankly, the answer is simple: honor the offer and send the remaining $1,475 difference. I cannot recommend this dealership and their deceptive practices. More
