Worst dealer ever! Do not purchase any vehicles from this dealer! I did put $1000 deposit to hold Toyota Corolla SE 2022. I worked with Patty during that process. After one week later, I was told that the vehicle was sold to someone else too! I waited for that car and put deposit on it and the car was given to someone else!! I was able to buy other cars from different dealers but I rejected other offers since I thought I already bought a car. I felt like they are lying to me to not sell the car because I told them I am moving to a different state in 2 weeks. They just want to sell the car to someone that they will earn business for future. Big disappointment!!! More
This has been a very sad and unethical situation with Labadie Toyota. Let's start with when I first met the car salesman Tony. He gave me one and only choice that was in my budget. After my test drive he was so eager to have me sign papers and told me sign these papers today and keep the car here then when you get the down-payment you can get the car. Failed to tell me I had to insure the vehicle right then and there, so I had to pay for 2 vehicles because I had to drive my old car until I got my down-payment. Got the vehicle 2 weeks later. 5 days after I got my car i took a family vacation and after 500 miles my oil pan was dry. Got it back to the dealership after spending 70 dollars on oil to make sure the engine didn't blow up. Got the vehicle back to the dealership and the pistons are bad. They fixed it supposedly then a week later it broke down again. Got it back and again broke down but this time I was stranded and had to use my car insurance for a tow. I spoke to todd and I told him I either need a brand new engine or a different vehicle. I was only in the vehicle for 2 months and it was broke down for more than i got to drive it. I had a loaner for almost 2 months they called me and told me, I need the loaner back today because we are losing money by you having this loaner. Okay but what about the fact I can't drive the car I am making 300 dollar payments a month on. I took the day off of work so I could bring the loaner back and they told me, here drive your vehicle until we find one because your vehicle is driveable. Okay just drivable but not reliable. I test drove a van I really liked but the only way they can get me a reliable vehicle is If they ask the bank for almost double of what my original loan was. Well of course the bank says no because of all the negative equity my current vehicle has and the fact I have only made 3 payments. So now the dealership is saying they can't do anything unless I can get a co signer which is extremely unfair and not right whatsoever. Today the sales manager was trying to fight my husband all because my husband asked him'what are you gonna do about this piece of xxxx you sold my wife'.. yes the manager Todd immediately got defensive. Yelled at me to shut the door and walked around the counter to try and fight my husband. We should be mad we are allowed to be mad! Purchased a new Tundra Platinum truck and a rust proofing package. Labadie failed to complete the rust proofing despite several requests over a 3 year time period. Finally contacted BBB and received a respon package. Labadie failed to complete the rust proofing despite several requests over a 3 year time period. Finally contacted BBB and received a response from Service Manager offering to sell me another vehicle and reduce the cost versus refund the money. This is the same Manager who repeatedly did not provide the service when requested. Really? This remains unresolved and is reported by the BBB on their website as that. Reported situation to Michigan Attorney General. What legit place of business fails to provide a pre purchased service for 3 years? And then…. requests you buy another vehicle from them to get your money back? SHADY. There are many Toyota dealers around- my advice- avoid this one. More
Josh and Cody both made dealing with a car dealership so easy and enjoyable, start to finish everything went so smooth. From the intaker, Guy to our salesman Scott to the finance man Kyle, it was awesome. Everyone was friendly, polite and caring about their business. They all ( Scott and Kyle) worked with me to make finance man Kyle, it was awesome. Everyone was friendly, polite and caring about their business. Very tricky sales person. They lump sum everything and put in OTD so you don't pay what you agreed to pay. Be very careful when you buy any new or used car. They are friendly only when you buy. Leased a 2021 Toyota Highlander from Labadie Toyota today. Wonderful experience with this particular dealership. Mike Lavender was our salesperson. This is the 3rd lease vehicle we have gotten through them. We had a Tundra, 4Runner, and now a Highlander. The first thing you notice when you walk into this dealership is a salesperson immediately greets you with a smile and asks if they can help you. You also notice the place is always absolutely spotless. I like the fact that they never pressure you into a sale. Always asking what you are looking for and your price range. If you pick out a vehicle then Mike goes over everything in the vehicle with you and lets you know if you have any questions at all to feel free to call, text, or email him and he gets back to you asap. I would like to mention the service dept. also. We always make an appt. and they take of everything very quickly. Best experience in all the years we have purchased new vehicles. More
