I had modified a mortgage and it caused my credit score to drop. I had turned in a lease for a chevy trailblazer and was told they could not help with another vechicle. I went to La Fontaine and was put into a Kia Sorento with astronomical payments but felt I was between a rock and a hard place so to speak, the sales person was very pleasant but when it came to service it was not what I had expected, I had purchased road side assistance and when the new tire on the vehicle blew I was told that I was not in the "pick up range" and had to arrange for towing myself, the time spent waiting for an oil change was longer than I had ever experienced and finally I was told that my oil pan was leaking after only 18000 miles, the sales person told my 3-4 days till parts would arrive, I had to call them over a week later and when I did was informed that I would either have to miss work or pay for a rental car myself because they had no loners, I explained that I could do neither and was told that they would speak with a manager and call me back, I never recieved a phone call. Neadless to say I went to a local chevy dealer and was able to get out of that vehicle and I would not recomend La Fontaine to anyone looking for a vehicle. More
Jay Saulberry did an outstanding job of meeting my needs. He presented various leasing options and vehicle choices to accomodate me. Furthermore, when I came to the dealership to make my final choice, I was informed that the color I wanted was no longer available as someone had purchased it just before I arrived. I was willing to settle for a different color, however, upon seeing my disappointnment Jay indicated that he would locate a car from another dealership because he wanted me to be happy. He had the car for me the very next day and we closed the deal that evening. As far as I am concerned, Jay went above and beyond what was required of him. I will be doing business with Jay and Lafontaine again!! Jay, thanks again for everything!!! More
This was my second experience leasing a new vehicle with LaFontaine KIA. Both times, it was a hassle free, pleasant experience. Their customer service is No. 1 and I would highly recommend them. Both times I leased a KIA Soul, and my salesman was able to get me the exact color and options I wanted in an amazingly short amount of time. Miles Brown is very professional, and puts forth every effort to take care of his customers. Kuwan attention to his customers needs, and his ability to adapt to situations (credit, kids, etc) and please not only his customer but his employer are to be commended! Please ensure he is there when I am ready for my next vehicle which I will most certainly be getting from Lafontaine! Honorable mentions also go to Stacey (whom I conversed with via email at the start of my experience) and Josh in financing - my interactions with those individuals were also very pleasant and positive! After being turned down by 2 other dealership, I was getting really tired of the entire car buying experience. Desperately needing to find a different new car before my present lease was upon me. I tried one more computer search and luckily ran by LaFontaine's website. I decided to make a 'last ditch effort', boy am I glad I did. I made an appointment with a gentleman named MacGregor Brown. He went directly to work on my credit application upon my arrival. I don't have great credit, and I have been disabled since December 2009. Needless I had started to think it wasn't going to work out. It seemed the entire staff came together to make sure I left with a new car. Low and Behold that's exactly what happend. I now have a brand new auto, and I was also able to turn in my lease in time. They got so involved in getting a deal with hardly any (out of pocket for me) I felt as if I should have been doing something on my end. They assured me they had everything under control and boy were they right. I would recommend them to anyone based on GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. The experiene was so delightful and quick, I was totally blown away. Thanks LaFontaine, you've made a friend for life. More
