I've heard great things about the service department, so hopefully my future experience with service will erase my memories of the experience with the sales staff. I had initially worked with Jason Rein hopefully my future experience with service will erase my memories of the experience with the sales staff. I had initially worked with Jason Reinke, but when I came in to start the sales process I learned he had left for the day and I was handed off to Jason Hankerson. I was going to leave and come back another day, but I was encouraged to stay, I should have listened to my gut, because nothing seemed to go right and a lot of my valuable time has been wasted. First, he wouldn't listen to me when I told him I wanted to know what they would give me for my trade-in and the bottom-line price of the car I was buying. He kept coming back with various payment amounts and got frustrated because I wouldn't agree to a deal. I didn't want to know payment amounts - I wanted to know the bottom line. That took several iterations and for some reason they wouldn't let me see the price sheet so I'd know exactly what was on the car - I was just supposed to trust them. Then they kept forgetting the various incentives and 0.9% financing offer and kept pushing longer term loans even though I told him three times that I would not be financing the car for longer than 36 months. Then they pushed to have me pick up the car the next day, but it wasn't feasible for me. So I came in the subsequent day and the car was not ready. So that was more sitting around for me. Good thing I carry my Kindle with me! When it came time to go over the car, he was more focused on the technology, which he really couldn't demonstrate, and I've had to read the manual to figure out how to use the functional aspects of the car. Once again, he wasn't paying attention to what I was interested in and didn't answer several of my questions. I decided to go on-line to try and figure out the Blue-Link on my own, only to find out I didn't know the password, the PIN, or the answer to the security question. He set all these things up without telling me, or without any input from me, and now I'm stuck with it because the website people can't figure out how to let me change any of them. And without knowing the answer to the security question, I had a heck of a time verifying my identity in order to get them to tell me what my PIN is. And... he misspelled my name, so every time I go on the web site I'm greeted with a misspelled first name. People's names are important to them, so you should spell it correctly. The web guys said they could change my misspelled name via the system if I provided the VIN for my car, but guess what... the wrong VIN was on the title application, financing agreement, and everything else. So then I was expected to interrupt my work day to check the VIN on my car and then change my evening plans to come in and resign everything to fix his mistakes. People wonder why I keep my cars as long as I do. Essentially it's because I hate having to go through the experience of dealing with car salesmen, and this has been my worst experience to date. More
I had previously visited a different Hyundai dealership, and my experience there was the typical runaround, guessing game of the price of the car. The type of experience that makes people dread car buying and my experience there was the typical runaround, guessing game of the price of the car. The type of experience that makes people dread car buying and the kind of experience that gives car salesman there bad reputation. At LaFontaine I did not experience any of these issues. They worked very hard to get me out of a lease I was in early and get me into my new Sonata. I never had the feeling that I was being given the runaround. I knew what the price of the car was, what I had to put down to get the payment I wanted. The salesman I worked with both worked hard to put me into a new Hyundai. I would definitely recommend this Hyundai dealership to others. More

Curtiss Harris combined his outstanding inter-personal skills with his technical expertise and knowledge of vehicles to make purcahsing my new Hyaundai a truly great experience. What makes this more incre skills with his technical expertise and knowledge of vehicles to make purcahsing my new Hyaundai a truly great experience. What makes this more incredilble is that he engineered the entire transaction smoothly---even though I am 600 miles away in Washington,DC! Mr. Harris is honest, and a true professional. I will recommend him to anyone looking to purchase or lease a vehicle! More
My review is completely mixed. On the one hand my salesperson was wonderful, but her supporting management was awful. In total, I spent about 6 hours at the dealership to get this deal completed whi salesperson was wonderful, but her supporting management was awful. In total, I spent about 6 hours at the dealership to get this deal completed which included me leaving after waiting for over two hours first thing in the morning and coming back later that day and closing the dealership to pick up my car. I had the car I wanted and we AGREED upon a price, but when I got to the finance office to sign the paperwork the price had changed! DAVID LAWRENCE, the Toyota sales manager decided not to honor the deal I was offered. He spent a good hour arguing with me and complaining that the price was unheard of, as if we don't all know too well that cars are marked up a great deal! After fighting with me for all that time he finally gave me less than half of the deal I was promised, I should have left and now wish I had gone elsewhere, but I made the deal and took my car. Not only was he totally dishonest, but he tried to bully me in the process. If I wanted to deal with someone like that I would buy my car from the back of a truck. I expected more. Dominic Argerio and Jaimie Andrews were both really great. They were both courteous and attempted to honor the deal I was given. Like many people in this area I know lot's of people who work for dealerships and who build American cars, it was a hard choice to make and I wanted to at least purchase a car from people in the area who would profit from my choice, but my business will go elsewhere next time. Lot's of people ask me about my car and I tell them to stay far away from Lafontaine unless David Lawrence is replaced by someone with ethics! More
My husband and I made multiple visits to the dealership. My husband worked with Jamie, I worked more with Miles. We had not made a new car purchase in ten years. The prices were shocking, the new features available awesome. Inadvance of selecting a KIA we test drove a Fusion. The available features vs. cost could not be compared. Both sales staff were professional, knowledgible, accommodating and focused on selling. We had test drives on more than once. My husband is very quizical, that did not deter Jamie. She showed my husband a great deal of patience and understanding, proving answers to his many questions. I worked with Miles, I am a less words, but more concerned with the financial benefits to purchasing the KIA. Miles made my purchase an easy task. I especially had a complex purchase because my vehicle is titled out of state. I needed a temp registration and sticker. There were other out of state issues that needed to be resolved. Miles persisted until I was able to leave the dealership with my new 2013 KIA Sorento. More
This was the first time I considered by a "foreign" car and I can truly say, if I buy another car, it will be definitely a Hyundai. I love my new 2013 Sonata. It is a great car. Now, I rec "foreign" car and I can truly say, if I buy another car, it will be definitely a Hyundai. I love my new 2013 Sonata. It is a great car. Now, I received excellent service from Jason Reinke, he responded promptly to all my emails. I decided what car I wanted by viewing their online site, I was even able to bid on a new car. It's great! I visited the dealership three times, on my own just to talk and see the cars in person. However, when I made the decision to buy, I was contacted at work, and by the time I arrived at the dealership everything was prepared (all paperwork) etc. The customer servicing did not end there either, after my purchase, a few days letter I received a thank you email from the dealership and one from Mr. LaFountaine. I also received a call from Jason, apologizing for not being there the day I pick up the car and asking how I was enjoying my new car. I can go on and on, but check it out for yourself, I am sure you will have a great customer experience, and maybe even purchase a car. Annette More
