Take a lawyer I recently bought a Sonata from LAFONTAINE HYUNDAI. In fact I bought my last three cars from a Lafontaine store. The first two experiences were extre I recently bought a Sonata from LAFONTAINE HYUNDAI. In fact I bought my last three cars from a Lafontaine store. The first two experiences were extremely satisfying, I assumed this one would be the same - big mistake. the sales part of it went ok. Dealing with the finance manager was another thing. As we went through the contract he pointed out the rebates and said that since we were getting employee pricing it also doubled our warranty. there was some figures about paint and upholstery which he said were taken off. Then he pointed to a figure and said that is what we were paying. It looked pretty close to what I had thought, so we signed. I went home that night and looked at it closer and discovered that the price he pointed to did not include the $4000 down payment I put down. So essentially I was paying about $4000 more than we had agreed to. Pretty slick. I called the next day (Sat) and no one would come to the phone, I finally got upset and demanded the manager. he finally came on and said to come in Monday and he would take care of it. it took my whole evening to get this corrected. I believe this is normal business for this dealer ship, I just caught on. What bothered me the most was the out-right lying by the finance manager, I don't know his name. More
