LaFontaine delivered a used vehicle with the “CHECK ENGINE LIGHT” on. The vehicle’s engine issue(s) were not disclosed on the phone upon inquiry, during the test drive, or during any signing of the pur ENGINE LIGHT” on. They performed some maintenance on it after returning the next day with the light on. The light came back on after re-delivery of the vehicle 3 days after their first service attempt. They DID NOT perform any maintenance on it the second time, but instead covered up their deception by clearing the code to “fix it” and kept the car for over a month. No attempt was made to find or fix the real issue it was sold with. LF was unprofessional and covered up their lack of work by keeping my car that was never worked on for 39 days until I called them. I worked with Will Ososkie to purchase a 2016 Honda CRV that was fraudulently advertised online. After delivery the CEL IMMEDIATELY came on within 2 miles. They cleared the code and sold me this car with engine issues. After “fixing” it right away, the second delivery also resulted in the CEL coming back on, except this time they DID NOT attempt to fix the issue. Timeline: Car delivered on 5/13. CEL came on 5/13. They did some work on it over the next 16 days (no loaner). It was re-delivered on 5/30. Light came back on, how with a blinking D also on 6/2. They kept the vehicle for 39 days and cleared the code again. Invoice states, “Customer States check engine light on found impact break on driver front tire upon arrival. Verified code P0741 set. Clear code an d test drove according to Honda repeatability procedure for P0741. Repeated test drive cycles until code sets again. Drive 55 miles in total after warm up repeating conditions set at 55 miles per hour engine RPM less than 2,000 no light return mounted and balanced new tire.”Rick Rodriguez refuses to work on it stating that there isn’t anything wrong with it. I explained that clearing the code does not fix the problem. He simply repeated over and over, “The check engine light is not on.” 7/16 the CEL came back on since they refused to find and fix the issue they covered up. The fraud they committed is abhorrent. They cheated me out of a properly working vehicle that was promised in the paperwork. LaFontaine fraudulently misrepresented their vehicle as being in good working condition only to be delivered with the CEL coming on minutes after delivery. LaFontaine kept the vehicle for 39 days and did not attempt to fix the issue they tried to hide when selling me the car. Their blatant refusal to communicate with me about the “repair” further shows their unprofessionalism and fraudulent business practices. LaFontaine's refusal to fix a known issue they covered up by clearing the code shows their deceptive business. CALL TO ACTION: This business needs to be investigated by the state for its consumer manipulation and fraudulent practices hurting consumers while they pocket our money. More

The 50 was awesome, super sharp looking, nice ride and well equipped, it was just a tad smaller than I wanted. Very good experience here and if I'm ever in the market for a Mazda, this is the place to go! More

Out of 5 dealerships I called the most helpful salesperson was- Pam! She was very straight forward gave me the information I needed. Once we set an appointment for my sister and I to come in, Pam made the process very inviting and fun. She wasn’t pushy and gave us the time to go over what car would work for my sister. I highly recommend to go see Pam if you’re looking for a new car. It’s hard to find salespeople that are knowledgeable about cars and they will go an extra mile to help you. More
The dealer sold me a new car with multiple defects, including obviously visible body and interior damages. Then, the dealer and sales person reluctantly (unwillingly) offer me $50 gas card after my over 4 weeks of stressful follow up time and effort. I would never recommend this dealer to any average person unless someone is willing and able to perform a deep-dive multi-point inspection by oneself to detect defects before signing the purchase agreement. More

Amazingly incompetent Salesperson, Managers, and possibly call operator. Asked for a call back from all 3, via the phone operator, direct land line, and cell phones, and haven't received a call back for seve call operator. First they tried to sell me a used 2018 CR-5 at $500 MORE than the online sale price (wasn't aware of). I had negotiated with the salesman, who did the Manager office walk, to see if he would go down $500 on the price. I was told that was a reasonable offer, with the car being over $23 K. The manager okay'd that amount and we signed paperwork. Salesman tried very hard to make me take the car, even though I was by myself & having to drive my truck home. This maneuver I later found out, was because once you take possession of the car, the contract can be enforced at that price. When I got home I checked the car online again, and it was no longer listed. Seemed like a quick act on their part which made me suspicious. Luckily I copied the original ad and saw that it was listed for $500, Below my negotiated price! I called the Sales person back and left a message. He didn't answer his cell phone, and I had just received the number from him hours earlier. Still not getting a phone call back from him later the following day, I called again, was able to talk to him, and was told they would honor the advertised online price. The manager had already agreed earlier on the previous day, to reduce the wrongly listed window price (not priced with the online sales price). So I know he had to look on his computer to check the numbers, just as they always do. Which means only one thing, that these are some very dishonest folks. Also, the front windshield had a star crack in it, and I was told that they would take care of it. That was before we left the dealer, after signing for the car. The fool salesman tried to blame the cracked windshield on us, because my wife & I took it for a test drive. We then had to pay $50 to have someone fix it in our driveway, because these fools would rather screw me over for a small amount of money, then to possibly see me as a future customer. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these very incompetent, and dishonest people!!! More
A problem with their advertising. Tried to buy a used suv there. They said it is $10000 under MSRP. The MSRP of the vehicle is about $39,500. they are asking $33,999 which of course does not add up. Makes you wonder what else they might be misleading someone about. More
