We purchased a new RAM Truck outfitted with a snow plow early this year. It overheated in the way home. Several trips to the shop later the vehicle still overheats with the plow on it, pretty much regardle early this year. It overheated in the way home. It appears LaFontaine has no interest in resolving this issue, leaving us with a pretty useless snow ow truck for this coming winter. More
I have had the pleasure to work with John Pitoniak for several years. My 70-year-old mother took her Jeep Cherokee here for brake service. They supposedly inspected the brakes and told her that it needed back brakes but that the front brakes were good, it was also leaking brake service. They supposedly inspected the brakes and told her that it needed back brakes but that the front brakes were good, it was also leaking some brake fluid. She had them do the service work to replace her rear brakes. When she got the car back the front brakes were scrapping. We took the car to another shop, and they informed us that the front brakes were mental on metal and that the leak had never been fixed. We had the second shop fix the issues, but my mother now feels like they deliberately lied to her. I would recommend staying far away from this place. More

The company I work for bought a 2021 RAM for a service truck in MARCH of 22 (currently its February 16 23). When we received the truck the rear camera did not work but they were going to fix it. The owner of the company I work for was taking care of it until January but got tired of the stress of their awful service, So I took it over. I would not recommend this Lafontaine to any single person, not even my worst enemy. Their customer service is mediocre and that's being polite. Don't even get me started on their lack of communicational skills, absolutely garbage. They toss you around to people claiming "oh wow, that is so crazy I apologize for this. Don't worry I will get this taken care of" and then won't answer the xxxx phone ever again. Finally talk to Brant M. who swore to handle this situation and have better communication with me but that was laughable all in its own. I had to BLOW up the mans phone before finally he answered and apologized for not calling me back sooner *eyeroll*. He claimed to have the part and they came to get the service truck and would have it back the next day or latest 2 days later which would have been a Friday, but to no shock when I came back on Monday, the truck had never been delivered back because why would their word mean anything at that point right? So I call these people and everyone at service was so confused, Brant didn't order the right part or didn't order the part at all because no one has any idea where the part that was needed was. I was furious because maybe instead of waiting for me to call they could have picked up the phone on Wednesday to COMMUNICATE but no, they keep our truck for 5 additional days which means we lose 3-5K a day not including after hours service calls. Well Nick calls me and wow, again he promises everything Brant did except swearing that even if he has to come get the truck himself he will and even drop it off, again *eyeroll*. He says he will get to the end of this and will get back to me which he actually does giving me a smidgen of hope. I didn't hear anything for days so I called and shocker he didn't answer, but the next day or so a woman called me to set up a time for them to pick up the truck yet again. The owner of course having hesitations finally gave in after I reassured that it would only be gone for two days. I called back to set up something but I wanted to talk to Nick first. He assured me that it would only take 2 days. we set it up for Monday, well here I am on Thursday and still no truck. This Lafontaine is the most ridiculous place I have ever had the experience of working with. I called them regularly to check on the status of things because their track record is just awful. The business I work for is also a mechanical shop and this behavior from all of the people I had to deal with is just unacceptable. We bought something from them and it wasn't our job to fix it, but we offered to just fix it if they sent us the part and they couldn't do that. What can you people do? I mean besides stress people out, ignore people, make excuses for your BAD business. All in all they had our truck the first time when I wasn't handling it for a week. Then 5 days and now 3 days after promising only 2 We have lost thousands of dollars because of their unreliability and lack of communication. Would they accept this from someone? Would they just sit around and do nothing because if that's the case I feel for those owners of that Lafontaine but maybe they need some new management. You can't be a manager and not do anything. You will talk to a few nice people but its not worth the service you get at this establishment. I mean I've asked for a credit or anything to help make this a bit easier and they ignore me over and over again. Once they have your money they don't care about you. Never get your vehicle serviced here. You will pay double and they will throw things you don’t need in the quote. I paid half at another shop to get my car fixed. Had an appointment for service on my car, only for them to take 3 days to even look at it. After a week, I called... and called, and left messages. I spoke with at least 4 different advisors , and felt I w to take 3 days to even look at it. After a week, I called... and called, and left messages. I spoke with at least 4 different advisors , and felt I was getting handed off from one advisor to another. I let my sales person know, and of course I was ghosted. Go figure. I have purchased from lafontaine highland in past with zero issues. I ended up getting my car back a week and a half later, with absolutely nothing done to it. You all should be fired. More
