I live in Alaska and was looking for a very specific work truck to meet my needs. Out of 30 dealerships (5 near the Highland MI area) contacted in the lower 48 states Jeff was the only car salesmen who took truck to meet my needs. Out of 30 dealerships (5 near the Highland MI area) contacted in the lower 48 states Jeff was the only car salesmen who took the time to locate the specific truck I was requesting. He was able to show me the specs of the truck online and pictures of towing capacity placards. All of the other dealerships were more interested in having me come in and look at there inventory. Once I decided that the truck Jeff had found was the one I wanted to buy he had it shipped from Ohio. With this kind of service I would fly from Anchorage Alaska again to buy a vehicle from Jeff at La Fontaine. More

We initially went to LaFontaine Cadillac to look at 2 to 3 year old used cars. Going into the New Car Cadillac side we were promptly greeted by Luke Field in New Car Sales. He was most willing to walk us ov 3 year old used cars. Going into the New Car Cadillac side we were promptly greeted by Luke Field in New Car Sales. He was most willing to walk us over to the used car side. On our way he pointed out a brand new 2012 CTS left over which matched our requirement exactly from a color/type point of view. When we commented we liked that one but thought it would be more than we were willing to pay,he said you may be surprised and had us take it for a drive. Upon our return he pointed out all the features related to new vs used and we negotiated price. We came to a most satisfactory situation. Through out the entire experience Luke was very friendly and helpful. Felt he had our interest at heart. The only reason LaFontaine did not get excellent across the board is we did not think the financial closer was at the top of her game. It is a great dealership! More
We started the process of purchasing our new Escalade with John Foglio. It was easy to deal with John and he really understood exactly what we needed. I am used to be passed around by the sale manager with John Foglio. It was easy to deal with John and he really understood exactly what we needed. I am used to be passed around by the sale manager at other dealerships, but John stayed with us and then we were joined by Rob Mouatt as he was out of town the day I came in to "look"...I nornally deal with Rob. They both worked with me like a team and I never felt like I had to wrap it up with one or the other...they were each excited for us and the new Escalade. The dealership is a green facility, it is inviting, friendly and a nice place to wait for your vehicle. The LaFontaine family is also very involved in community affairs, which is nice to know. This is my favorite dealership! More

We looked at a lot of vehicles and had even visited a Buick dealer closer to our home in Genoa Twp. They ran us a copy of the current Add from the newspaper. NOT what we had in mind. We had heard that LaFontaine was a good dealership and decided to visit. WOW are we glad we did take the time to drive over. From the moment we entered your showroom floor we were treated the way a customer wants to be treated. We can't say enough good things about our salesman Garnell Woolridge. He was patient ,professional and just a real pleasure to work with in making this decision. We would recommend LaFontaine and specifically Garnell to all of our friends and family when purchasing a vehicle. Your dealership is beautiful and Garnell FAR exceeded our expectations!!! I called this dealership after another dealership wasn't able to work with me on the terms I needed. Mike was friendly, helpful and was easy to work with over the phone and by email, which was very m wasn't able to work with me on the terms I needed. My only comment would be that when I had specific questions about the final sales worksheet that I needed to sign, the explanation was fairly vague and the manager (not Mike) wasn't able to explain it to me. This made me feel like I wasn't getting the whole story. Other than that, great experience! More
I recently traded my 2011 Acadia in for a new 2013 Acadia. I commute 100 miles per day and work as a 5th grade school teacher and have little time in my day for nonsense. I looked at the web site for the LaFontaine dealership and sent an e-mail from the site explaining that I'd like to trade in my Acadia. I was sent an e-response and a name to contact when I had the time. The next day I stopped in after school on a Wednesday and talked to Mike Kessler. I explained to Mike what I wanted to do and he seached their data base to find the car I was interested in. The next day at lunchtime with very little time to wait on hold or explain what I wanted I was able to again talk to Mike Kessler and we agreed on a purchase. I sent my information by fax and smart phone and later that day I took delivery of my new 2013 Acadia. Mike was a consummate professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and he quickly made great use of the little time I had to shop and deal with the assundries that buying a car often requires. My new GMC Acadia is an excellent ride, very comfortable and I was able to upgrade to a SLT package and keep my same car payment.
