As far as I can determine, your dealership is honest. My experiences with both sales and service personal at other dealers in this area does not bring me to the same conclusion about those dealerships. Garnell Woolridge, sales dept., WOW! I could not be happier, I talked to Garnell early Fall about my interest in buying another SRX when my lease is up in April 2014. He said he would keep me informed on what GM was offering and all options that would fit my needs. I will be picking up my new SRX this week. Garnell is not pushy, listens to your needs, is very polite, very knowledgeable and makes the car purchasing process go very smoothly. I would recommend Garnell to any one interested in buying a new Cadillac. Thanks. Also I would like to share my satisfaction in Victoria Barnewold in the Service Department for all the help she has given me in the last three years. She is so polite, takes the time to listen and always willing to help me. I plan on contacting Victoria when needing any future service on my new Cadillac. More
I had a few months left on my lease, and went to several different dealerships to see if I could get out early. Nobody really wanted to work with me and told me to come back when my lease was up. My husband heard an add on the radio that LaFontaine was doing lease pullaheads. I thought it would be another let down and they would tell me to come back when my lease was up. Nope, that was not the case, they got me out of my lease and into the car that I wanted, and not just another base model car, it had everything I wanted and more! I worked with Jeff Chapel who was able to get my new payments down to a reasonable amount too. My husband and I drove from Saint Clair Shores, all the way to Highland, which is about an hour or more away, and we were not dissapointed at all. We were even able to get the information over the phone before we made the trip there. Although it is far from where we live, I would definately go back for my next vehicle. More
I recently purchased a 2011 GMC Sierra extended cab from Mike Seacord at Lafontaine. Prior to coming into the showroom I had looked at the inventory of used trucks on line. I have had GMC trucks for the l Mike Seacord at Lafontaine. Prior to coming into the showroom I had looked at the inventory of used trucks on line. I have had GMC trucks for the last 15 years so I knew the configurations that would work for me. Unfortunately most of the used trucks I found were Club Cabs which are shorter beds than I need. Over the course of a couple weeks Mike kept an eye out for a late model extended cab with low mileage and within my price range. Mike knew the configuration of options on the trucks better than I did. He called me a week ago and told me he had found one that met my requirements. Upon inspection of the truck I found a small dent in the rear fender which the body shop took care of in a few days. Throughout the deal I never felt pressure to buy something I did not want or need. My "old" GMC is a 2004 which has more than 254,000 miles and I am going to hold on to it for more. I have performed all the service on it myself and made a few trips to Parts Dept at Lafontaine for parts and guidance. I always feel funny walking into this beautiful new dealership past the Lafontaine Family offices in my dirty work clothes just to get to the parts counter. I wish they had a back door I could enter instead. I guess if they don't mind, why should I. More

My Lafontaine experience was awesome. I was referred to Luke Field by my good friend Gail Harris, who had leased a vehicle from Luke earlier. I was touched by his personal concern for me to make certain that I receive an automobile within my budget. I was most impressed when Luke was able to suggest a car color to my taste. I don't know how he read me but with little information he was able to select a choice color that I am very very pleased with. I never felt rushed or treated like "just another customer". On the first day of my visit he called ahead to asked what I wanted to drink. On the day i arrived to pick up my car, Luke took time to explain all the features on my SRX including my experience with "On Star" ??. I am excited that I have developed a personal relationship with a salesman who caters to my needs, because my future transactions will most certainly be with Luke. Can't wait to see what the color combination will be on my next vehicle. Professional, is Luke's middle name. Lafontaine should be proud to have a true and important asset (like Luke) working on their team!!!!
