EXEMPLARY CUTOMER SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE My husband and I had an old Cadillac which we loved however, it was time to trade it in for a newer model. I had seen the ads for LaFontaine Cadillac My husband and I had an old Cadillac which we loved however, it was time to trade it in for a newer model. I had seen the ads for LaFontaine Cadillac on the television and they promised a "Family Deal". I am a huge supporter of family business so we thought we would give it a try. This occurred on December 30 2015, month end for most businesses and a very busy time of the month. My husband had placed a call to our sales consultant Ruth Anne Baker expressing what we were interested in and she immediately started researching various cars that she felt would match our request. She called us back and truly wanted us in a new Cadillac. By the time we were both home it was after the dealership had closed however that made no difference to Ruth Anne. She called us back explained what she had available and set up a time to see us first thing the following morning. My husband and I met her at the dealership and were about to experience the BEST CUTOMER service I have ever had purchasing anything let alone an automobile. The dealership was incredibly busy however she devoted an incredible amount of her time to us and we NEVER felt rushed into making any decisions. Her patience, persistence and customer service was one of the most positive experiences of my life. LaFontaine didn't just live up to their claim on the television, it far exceeded it. The other individual I must give credit to is Luke Field, our business manager. He explained everything very clearly ,was incredibly honest and helped us choose the correct options for ourselves. Even some of the employees that were clearly on their lunch hour were never too busy to help us with our computer as we were having lunch at the bistro. I cannot give enough accolades to describe our experience with Ruth Anne and Luke but to say that LaFontaine made a CUTOMER FOR LIFE that day. With sincere thanks to an outstanding team! To have a salesman like Steve Hartwig be very caring, personable and his salesmanship is number 1! I would recommend anyone to purchase a car from Steve at LaFontaine Cadillac. Steve was very patient, attentive to my needs. Steve Hartwig and Kirk Shubert worked as hard as anyone I have ever seen to get someone in a car. My first stops to buy a car were at Surburban Cadillac in Troy, MI and Cadillac of Novi, MI. If I were those dealerships, I would take a page from LaFontaine and learn to sale cars like they do. Also, everyone else that I met at LaFontaine were outstanding. I will do everything in my power to get everyone that I know that wants a Cadillac to go to Steve Hartwig at LaFontaine. Also, if they need financing, talk to "The Wizard" Kirk Shubert. These gentleman are incredible! In closing, thank you Steve for the smoothie! Sincerly Clayton P.S. He also sold us a warranty that would not cover our repairs or ANYTHING on a lifted jeep . You agreed to cover ONE or the OTHER of multiple repairs that were needed. As saying " you bought a used vehicle , I'm not going to make it new for you" were your exact words. Unbelievable worst experience EVER! More

Job relocatio Had an accident (deer) Nov 2014 commuted 125 miles each way to dealership expecting Quality Body Work and Paint at Lafontaine BODY SHOP. Job relocation to Indianapolis Wife picked up car in January got it home and got it clean only to notice that the body panels are not fitting correctly and that the paint is splotchy (Looks like I used a spray can) Finally able get appointment to Body Shop August 2015 where I thought that they could not only fix their paint job but repair the stone chips incurred on another claim. When the vehicle was completed, it was substantially worse. (Cadillac Dealership) the stone chips were painted over, speck of dirt in paint, the driver’s door will not open, the power seat will not locate per FOB, body panels are haphazardly attached, body panel seams are caulked together with caulking oozing out between the joints, fit of panels are misaligned and additional repairs were skipped over. La Fontaine shipped me the parts (Indianapolis, Indiana) and said to have the dealership down here repair the paint and panels. Lockhart Cadillac (Indy) looked at the car and told me that they would not want to stain their reputation trying to fix the paint and panels. He suggested that La Fontaine should just put me in another vehicle because his estimated repairs were exceeding $6,000, and he did not get into the sub layers of paint prep or product repairs. Lafontaine started to look for a car but the decided to offer me today 2-1-2016, some 6 months later, $2,500 to go away. My car is screwed up. The pictures and correspondences are on file with multiple emails between myself and La Fontaine. The repaint of the area from the original incident has over spray into the door jambs, paint runs, specks of dirt embedded in the paint ETC… Not the type of quality a person should expect from a Cadillac Dealership. I hope that the body shop staff would watch "undercover Boss" episode 4, season 6 (2015) where the proper sequence to paint and repair vehicles are discussed to quote a phrase "We cut some corners here at Maaco- This is not a Cadillac Dealership" I SURE WISH I WOULD HAVE TAKEN MY CAR TO MAACO. THE PAINT AND BODY WORK ON MY CAR COULD BE A HIGH SCHOOL PROJECT CAR AT BEST. Both Robert Simmons and Kelly Lafontaine have been involved in this 14 month process. I am waiting for Robert Simmons to accuse me of keyboard commando AGAIN. Great way to repair cars. the rating of a single star is a joke it should be negative rating but they will not post it. More

Best buying experience, ever. Simply stated, this was the best buying experience I've ever had. My sales consultant, Barry Mitch, treated me well beyond my expectations.
