Would not recommend. My wife contacted LaFaintaine Cadillac and was interested in trading in her 2019 Terrain for a new XT4. She was going to have to roll over a little My wife contacted LaFaintaine Cadillac and was interested in trading in her 2019 Terrain for a new XT4. She was going to have to roll over a little on the Cadillac and wanted to see if they would make us a deal. We are 1.5hrs from the dealership, but they had the XT4 she wanted. Filled out the paperwork, credit app and what she was looking to do on the website. She received a call from John Whiteford asking her to come in. Also, she was told that the cars that show available on the site, are not actually available. She explained we were far away and wanted to get most of the paperwork done before we went there. We got the "need to talk with my manager" speech but said they would work on it. A little while later, John called back and said we have a 7:30pm appointment. We said great, give us some numbers and we will see if they work for us. Got the run-around again. John told us he and his manager would call us back in 10min. Didn't hear from them again until the next morning. John calls me and let's me know they have the car ready, gives me a payment and asks for some more info to finish the paperwork. I asked him if they want to look at the Terrain before we finish the deal, the quote she received from LaFaintaine on the Terrain was just based on the info she put into the site. They normally want to confirm the condition etc. He said he wasn't aware she was trading in the Terrain. She told him that was the plan, I told him that was the plan and the online application was filled out with the trade-in. He didn't listen to anything either of us told him, he just kept pushing to get us in to sign the paperwork. We told him we were not happy and would look elsewhere. She received another text from him, basically yelling at her in all caps that the messages sent to her were automated and he didn't send them. There were multiple misspellings, not something you would see in an automated message. No one from the dealership seemed to care about us buying a car, we will not be going back. More

worst dealership! avoid at all costs! was in contact with this dealership for a cadillac xt6 for a week! stated it was available and ready to be looked at. took work o avoid at all costs! was in contact with this dealership for a cadillac xt6 for a week! stated it was available and ready to be looked at. took work off to go see it and make the hour drive just for them to tell me ‘oh sorry, the vehicle is being serviced for a part that is on back order, but we do have these others that are $3000-$4000 more that are available’. the vehicle is still listed with price still decreasing online. waste of time! Made an online inquiry and was told the vehicle was available. Made an offer and was told there was no room on the price. I meet with same saleswoman who tells me the car is on a lot in another city an hour away. Before I ever get a chance to say a word she starts blaming me for showing up and not telling her first. If the dealer says the car is available one would think its at the listing dealer where the saleswoman that responded sits; or say yes its available but at a different lot. Totally unprofessional. Lost this sale which is for my kid and my new truck business as well. More

The service department is undergoing construction, which is fine. However, the signage of where it moved too was more complicated than it should be. Once i figured it out, a gentleman took me to where it was. I stood there for a few minutes, several employees come by and I don’t one greeting, which was unprofessional. One man eventually came over and took me back to get checked in. He was persistent to tell me all these things I was due for which was over $600! I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. After being kinda pushy, we agreed to what I simply came in for. He then asked if I was staying as it would be a TWO hour wait!!!! Why did I make an appointment for that kind of wait? I said I’d just leave, he asked someone who said maybe it would be done in hour. That was unacceptable! I left. I drove 25 minutes each way to not get anything done??? How annoying. I will never recommend this place to anyone and will be sure to not buy from them, nor should you! More
Terrible trying to buy a car experience. After 3 days of trying to buy, I was told that they would not take my PNC ready check, which I have used for the last 4 vehicles I purchased. Needless to say, I went online, found the same vehicle at another dealership, and it took me 2 hours to be closed and delivered on a new vehicle. I will never recommend LaFontaine to anyone purchasing or service of a vehicle. More
Service department is terrible. So glad this car is a lease and they will get it back in the end. Car wash was also always broken when my car was in service. Have stood and waited to get help for a minimum of 15-20 minutes every time I’ve had my car there. More
Brought a car in for an oil change. Someone spilled coffee with heavy creamer on the seat. No one else drinks that in this car. A few days later the odor is unbearable. When contacting the dealership, the response was basically no they did not and we were wrong. After trying several things the car is almost un-driveable, due to the odor. At no point has any attempt been made to make this ok. This is a Cadillac dealership and you would expect reasonable service. There is not. I will never return to this dealership for anything ever again. Beware they don’t care about you or their quality. More
