Earlier this year around march 2012 the engine light came on in my 2008 buick enclave so I took my auto to at that time Mack buick, they told me the car needed 3 new timing chains. The car was still under wa on in my 2008 buick enclave so I took my auto to at that time Mack buick, they told me the car needed 3 new timing chains. The car was still under warranty so I consentented for them to do the work after I received the car back I noticed a unfamiliar winning noise when in low accelaration around 2000 RPM so I assumed some new parts needed to be broken in,but after a number of weeks the sound was still there I thought to take the car back in. after checking it I was told they could not reproduce the problem. Taking the car back the problem was still there. I noticed the problem appeared when the engine was warm.So latter I took the car back in. At this time the dealer had changed to LaFontain. So I went on a test ride with the service personell and was able to point out the noise with their acknowledgment. So I left the car with them, It was kept A good solid month. finally I was called to pick the car up with no real promise that the problem was solved. After picking the car up and taking I-94 east to Ypsilanti before I got to state st. the noise to my disappointment was still there. I called the next day to let them know, speaking to Derek Schema. He acknoledged they were doing all they could do, even bringing in a engineer from GM. Yet the annoying noise was not solved. Some time later my engine light came on agian so I took it to the dealer again, the light problem was solved I was told that they thought they could solve the noise problem. So I left the car to be fixed, the car was again kept a good solid month. I received the car early november 2012 the next day I drove the car to ST.Louis MO.to A church convention, the car did wel but after I arrived their I noticed the noise 3 or 4 times. I would say the car is 85 percent fixed to this day. 12/10/2012 I was charged $297.56 for 1 replacement headlamp bulb, part only.Latter I took the bad bulb to a auto parts store, and was told they had the same part for $99.99. I fill had. More
I visited this dealership during the past summer to drive a recreational vehicle that happened to be for sale, unusual as it was for a car dealership to have this type of an item. Although I didn't buy the a recreational vehicle that happened to be for sale, unusual as it was for a car dealership to have this type of an item. Although I didn't buy the RV, I knew I would return when the time came for a car purchase/lease because of the treatment I received from Josh on my first visit. I returned to the dealership this past weekend to work with Josh on a new car, either a purchase or a lease. I knew right away that he had a clear understanding of my needs/my wants/my price range. He explored all options within these parameters, never trying to take me beyond what I knew would work for me. We explored many options and settled on the perfect vehicle for me in every way. Along with this, I received a very fair price for my trade-in vehicle. I spent a large portion of the day on this lease, due to the fact that I wanted to leave the dealership that day with a new car, which I did. During this time, not only Josh but Bill and Emmanuel also reached out to me throughout the day to make sure I was comfortable, had everything I needed and just chatted with me to help pass the time when they had the opportunity while my car was being prepped. My complete experience was positive in every way. I can't emphasize enough how aware they were of my particular car needs and their efforts to meet those needs. I look forward to having my new car serviced at LaFontaine and also to making future purchases there. More
I could not be happier with the experience my wife and I had with Efram at Lafontaine GMC in Ann Arbor. We were looking for a larger car due to our growing family, and when our current vehicle was involved had with Efram at Lafontaine GMC in Ann Arbor. We were looking for a larger car due to our growing family, and when our current vehicle was involved in an accident, we knew it was time. As soon as we pulled into the dealership we received a warm welcome. From there, the leasing process was flawless. We had visited several dealerships before going to Lafontaine and trying to lease a car with a 2 year old in tow was begining to be a chore. Efram was quick and knowledgeable and worked out a wonderful lease deal for us. They even took our old car off of our hands, which had major body damage, and gave us a fair trade in price. We have had our 2012 GMC Acadia for 6 months now and it's a wonderful vehicle. We have taken it on many trips and it has performed up to the task every time. Once this lease is over, I'm sure our next lease will be with Lafontaine GMC again. I hate haggling, being talked down to, also when the salesman acts as if I have nothing else to do that day. Thankfully Efram did none of these things. I highly recomend him, along with the entire staff at this dealership. More
