My car was in their repair shop for a coolant problem they had it a month then sent it back and it still leaked I sent it right back and they had it two more weeks (6 weeks total) said the problem was fi they had it a month then sent it back and it still leaked I sent it right back and they had it two more weeks (6 weeks total) said the problem was fixed the towing service brought it back and it’s still leaking. This is hands down the worst car company experience I have had in my life, I’m 70 years old so I’ve had a few. I’m about to lose my mind because of the inept service and service department for that matter, don’t pay for their extended warranty, it’s a sham!!! More

This place is a total scam! !! Stay away! My recent experience at LA City Cars was a nightmare of deceitful tactics and hidden fees. Upon arrival, I was told by the manager, !! Stay away! My recent experience at LA City Cars was a nightmare of deceitful tactics and hidden fees. Upon arrival, I was told by the manager, Joseph "JJ" Jabbour, that the car I came for was sold right before I got there, even after calling to confirm multiple times beforehand. They then tried to put me in a more expensive car - a classic bait-and-switch tactic. The replacement vehicle was covered with dents and the interior stained - all undisclosed accident damage and cosmetic flaws not shown online. They employed high-pressure sales tactics the entire time I was there, trying to pressure me into buying impulsively by claiming someone at the other location was interested in buying the same car, but that they would let me purchase it if I was willing to buy it then and there. After going back and forth for a while we finally agreed on a $25k sales price plus taxes and fees. When they brough out the invoice for me to sign, they hadn't disclosed that their "fees" were roughly $5,000 for "optional" extras like Lojack and CilaJet, claiming they couldn't be removed. They shared that they significantly decrease the cost of their used Teslas to qualify for the federal tax rebate, and then make up the difference by charging exorbitant fees on other items, a borderline illegal and downright shady practice. My entire Saturday was wasted at LA City Cars and left me feeling utterly taken advantage of. LA City Cars clearly prioritizes profit over integrity, and I have a strong suspicion that all of their positive reviews are paid. I urge caution to anyone considering LA City Cars to avoid them at all costs. More
