Travelled to my parents house in the Morehead City area and my Dad and Sister both have bought cars from Kurtis. I have had nothing but issues with dealerships around me in Virginia Beach and Currituck Ar and my Dad and Sister both have bought cars from Kurtis. I have had nothing but issues with dealerships around me in Virginia Beach and Currituck Area. Kurtis was motivated to take my Trade In and get me in one of their vehicles. I made an appointment and was told the truck I was interested in would be ready for me to test drive and look at. When I got to the dealership I was greeted by a salesman and I let them know that I had an appointment. There was definetly some miscommunication in the dealership between people, because they didn thave me on an appointment and then they told me that truck I was looking at was not even available. I ended up being told they didn't have actually any of the trucks I was looking for at all. I left and as I was driving out I did see a truck I was looking for. There was one parked on the lot by the road. After some thought and frustration, I turned around and told the sales person that there was actually one truck still on the lot. I ended up going through and financing the truck but then they came back to me to tell me I would need a co signer. I told them I wouldn't be having a cosigner so I got up and started to leave again. They came back out as I was at the door and told me that I do not need a cosigner after all. I was very confused on why the dealership literally had me out the door twice. For the most part, minus the miscommunications, my experience was good. They gave me a solid trade in value for my current truck and got me into a brand new 2020 truck for right about where I wanted to be at payment wise. The experience overall was good. I would say a 7 out of 10 though just because of the miscommunication and confusion between the dealership. I would still recommend Kurtis Chevrolet as they were still MUCH BETTER than any dealership near Virginia Beach and Currituck Area. More
