Great people, great service, great cars. Nice people, maybe a little too busy. Bought a new Explorer, primarily over the internet. The experience was good & we agreed on a price. This was on a Friday. On Saturday, we visited to d Bought a new Explorer, primarily over the internet. The experience was good & we agreed on a price. This was on a Friday. On Saturday, we visited to do paperwork and to let the dealership see our trade. We were told that they had to send someone to get our car in the Chicago area. All went well and it was agree we would pick up our new vehicle on Monday morning and they would call when it was ready. Monday came and we waited all morning for a call. Nope, so I called them late morning. I was told that they were not able to get the car on Saturday and it would be available late Monday afternoon. I expressed my displeasure and was offered a free oil change which I accepted, but a phone call would have been nice. I was then told that our car would be ready by lunch time on Tuesday. On Tuesday, we arrived at lunch time to get our vehicle. All went well. Pete went through the vehicle with us and we were satisfied. Having said that, as we were driving away, I noticed the vehicle had almost 600 miles on it, not the 100-200 we were told. On getting home, my wife and I were putting our heavy mats in it and laying the back seats down when we notice some small scratches in the rear plastic and what appeared to be dog hair all over the carpeting in the back. Most of the scratches turned out to be dirt and the hair came up pretty easily. What's the big deal, you may ask? 1) The vehicle cost more than $40k 2) We were delayed in picking up the vehicle so that it could be detailed. Whoever "detailed" it has a different idea than I do as to what that means. 3) It's obvious someone at one of the dealerships was using this vehicle. Why weren't we told that? I don't know that this will prevent us from buying from Kunes again but attention to detail seems to be lacking. More

The Best Vehicle Buying Experience We've Had We put a lot of effort into identifying what we wanted on a new Ram truck and then worked hard to find the best deal. We provided our specs to ten dea We put a lot of effort into identifying what we wanted on a new Ram truck and then worked hard to find the best deal. We provided our specs to ten dealers thinking the truck would need to be ordered. Pete Smith was the only sales person able to locate a truck with nearly everything we wanted and brought it to his dealership. He then provided easy to understand pricing information. It ended up taking us about a month before we could finally carry through and buy the truck. During this time Pete kept in contact occasionally but was never a nag and never gave us a hard sell. When we were finally ready to buy, we negotiated the final price with Travis Prowant. In the past with other auto dealers, the "closer" always pulled all kinds of bs including lying and big-time pressure. It felt like an honest business process when we negotiated the final price and closed the deal with Travis. Overall. it was the best experience we've had purchasing a vehicle. More
