He gave us time to talk with him and answer our questions, as well as the time alone with my wife to talk things over privately during negotiations. The rest of the management there was also very friendly and courteous. We were quick to settle on a very reasonable sales price, and they correctly fixed the two deficiencies we found on the car. Further, we were able to take delivery of the car on the day it was promised, with it cleaned up nicely, registration plates already affixed, and ready to go. Bad Trade In Deal Experience I love my new Jeep but I feel I was taken for a ride on my trade in. They kept saying it was only worth $2000 in my area which is less than 45% of I love my new Jeep but I feel I was taken for a ride on my trade in. They kept saying it was only worth $2000 in my area which is less than 45% of what Kelly Blue Book rated mid range for it. Then i find out later they put it on the lot for almost $11,000!!! I feel I was cheated in this respect. KBB's mid range value of $4500 would have been more than fair, and this would have lowered my payments dramatically, even though they kept saying "this is the best we can do for you". I believe this falls into the category of unfair business practices! More

Disappointed with the vehicle I purchased 2013 Chevy Equinox Did our research online pertaining to a vehicle and found a couple of them at Kunes Chevy in Elkhorn. Proceeded to go there and once we got there, we received immediate attention and service. Eddie Sandoval was great, knew his stuff got our financing right away, it all went smooth. Couple weeks later all xxxx broke loose on the car. Please tell me the dealership knew nothing about this vehicle before selling it to us. There was a rattling sound coming from the vehicle when we turned it on, then a fume smell along with the sound. Took the car in to get it checked out, come to find the vehicle had no oil and was on a recall for an excessive oil consumption. Was then told to bring the vehicle in after having driven it for 500 miles. Ok, I took it in after 1000 miles and oil was less than 1/4 after having driven it for 1000 miles, indicating the vehicle had no oil when it was sold to us? (human error, I understand no one is perfect). Which was good news, continued taking the vehicle in as requested, just following protocol, and in turn informed them about the rattling sound that was coming from underneath the vehicle which no one told me about. My husband figured that out for himself and then told them what to look into and when they did, they found that the exhaust flex pipe was leaking fumes. GREAT!! For being a 3 yr old vehicle, the rear hatch cylinders are rusting and the doors have rust on the inside bottom. There are other issues wrong with the vehicle and on top of that, another recall notice comes in stating the wiper arm popping out of place, while engaged. Now I know the vehicle was manufactured with defective parts!! Unfortunately, it fell in my hands and there is nothing I can do. I just have to sit and wait to hear from the warranty company. In the meantime. I have no choice but to continue breathing the carbon monoxide fumes that get into the vehicle making me dizzy and nauseated every day. My husband is already sick and these fumes do not help him. Do I have a choice? Sure, I can come up with more money and trade the vehicle in for another, It's easier said than done. I just purchased this vehicle! I must say the guys respond right away and are very helpful. I am just frustrated and sadden about the fact that I trusted them. I got rid of my 2001 Olds Sillouhette and purchased a 2013 used vehicle that I'm afraid is only going to be a problem. I am frustrated because, not only am I dealing with the vehicle, I also have a sick husband that I care for, and though this has nothing to do with the purchase of my vehicle the problems with the vehicle just add to everything else we have going on. That's the reason I bought this vehicle to be able to take him to and from his appointment and not have to worry about the vehicle. This vehicle was purchased less than 3 months ago. FYI: The vehicle passed the excessive oil consumption test after taking it in 5 times. Heads up to anyone contemplating on purchasing any vehicle, please do your research on vehicles and dealerships as well. More
