went in to buy a new truck and when we started talking numbers i told them what the truck was on there website. They seemed shocked even though they new the truck and price i was coming in to buy. We were texting all day and in those text i told them the stock # and price of the truck even told me that i needed to see this sweet vehicle. If they were an honest dealership they would have honored the price on their website. Yes they might have lost a little money but they would have made it back and then some. They would have made good money on my trade in i would have brought the truck into there service department for service. I would have also bought some aftermarket parts from them but the biggest thing i would have been great advertisement for the dealership. With me being local i would have driven the truck around telling everyone where i bought the truck and sending potential customers their way. Now i will be telling everyone i can to avoid this dealership and find one that is honest even if you have to drive a little ways it would be better than dealing with a dishonest company. After ready other reviews i am not the only one this has happened to. I have bought a lot of vehicles in the past from good dealerships to bad and they all honored the price on their website, This has to be the worst experience i have ever had from a car dealer More

We have nothing but great things to say about Kunes CDJR Of Sycamore, IL. We have purchased 2 vehicles from them since May. Our Salesman Ed Bucaro was amazing!! I highly recommend him!!! ****ZERO STARS IF I COULD**** On 09-26-22 around 6 pm, I headed to the dealership after repeatedly getting text messages and phone calls from the dealership regarding a vehicle. I got there a couple of minutes after 6 and was greeted by Aaron. After talking with Aaron and explaining what I was wanting to spend, and what my idea of payment would be, the vehicle that I was interested in was finally pulled up, we took it for a drive. Upon returning to the dealership, Aaron says to me "so you know that vehicle is like $84,000, right?" First of all, I was taken aback by the comment, almost as if he was insinuating that I could not afford it. Secondly, Aaron knowing that was the price of the vehicle, and what I told him I'd like my payment to be around, should've told me that price upfront, to begin with. Mind you, online the price said $49,585. I said, "I'm sorry but not the price is not that." Aaron replies, uhhh yeah it is." I say I can pull it up and show you to which Aaron replies, yeah ok, go ahead and show me then. I proceeded to show Aaron the listing on their website to which he says, oh yeah that's wrong, someone needs to change that, and there's nothing we can do for you, we can't just throw 20 grand away for you. I told Aaron that I took off of work to come in due to the great reviews I've heard, and now It is probably 7:30 pm at this point just be told sorry, nothing we can do for you. I then asked Aaron for the keys to my vehicle so I could leave. He then asked if I wanted to speak to a manager, to which I said yes. After going back and forth with the general manager and being told a bunch of promises that he'd take care of, I was ready to just go home. I was told that after running my credit app last night (09-26), the general manager would be in contact with me this morning (09-27) to go over everything since he'd be able to talk to the banks. It was near 9 pm when I was finally given my keys back to my vehicle for me to leave. Not one person from Kunes CDJR reached out to me today. I reached out to Aaron in which he replied he was able to text, after I replied to him again, nothing but crickets. I find it absurd that I spent nearly more than 3 hours essentially trapped in a dealership because no one would listen that I just wanted to leave, but they hide your keys like a pot of gold. I really hope they treat other customers better, and not just waste people's time for no reason, and then completely ignore you because they didn't make a sale that night. I even told them that I am more than willing on finding something else I like at their dealership and that I would come back, but again not a single employee reached back out to me today like they "promised" they would. First impressions go a long way, and this one was not good. I would suggest you spend your valuable time and money elsewhere. It may not be all Kunes dealerships, but this one, in particular, does not seem to value that in the folks that walk through their doors. Also as of today, (09-27) at 9:40 PM over 24 hours later, and they still have yet to fix their "mistake" of the pricing online. I hope someone else doesn't waste their time thinking that is the price just to be told, sorry can't help you! BUYERS BEWARE More
