Bought a Hyundai Elantra in January. It had a recall on it. The tires were and still are, bald. The key fob they gave me didn’t even have any buttons on it. After taking it to the Hyunda It had a recall on it. The tires were and still are, bald. The key fob they gave me didn’t even have any buttons on it. After taking it to the Hyundai dealership to get the recall fixed, they told me I needed new tires. This was a few days after getting the car. I tried explaining that to everyone and their mother at the Kunes in Belvidere. They gave me the run around for weeks and then said that the tires were good when I got the car. Since I drive the car a lot and have put a lot of miles on the car since first getting it they are saying it’s from that even though I told them about it days after getting the car. They are liars and I do not recommend going to get a car from these people at this dealership. Might not be a big deal to some but my tires never even had the little plugs on any of them either. They said it wasn’t a big deal which I understand, however, if I buy a 20,000 car I would expect it to at least have GOOD tires on it! More
