The test drive couldn't have happened on a more perfect, typical Western Washington down pour type of day complete with standing water on HWY 167 which we didn't even have to back down off the gas to avoid hyrdoplaning. That car HOLDS THE ROAD, no slipping, slidding, hyroplaning or skidding. TR was excited to show us the truly astounding handling capabilites of that vehicle and encouraged us to drive it hard too, just so we could experience and understand the vehicles true potential. I went into Korum yesterday to look at a chevy suv and didnt end up liking it so the salesman took me around looking at some other vehicles. He asked his manager which other cars he should show us with our price range in mind. his manager then told him for us to look at a ford escape. This vehicle was 2 thousand dollars over our budget, but they assured us that they could get it down to our max price. I was apprehensive about taking the vehicle for a test drive so I made sure and asked again confirming that they would be able to take the price down and the salesman assured me that they would be able to. So I took the vehicle out for a test drive and then came back to try to work out a deal cause I liked the vehicle. I was also considering trading in a vehicle also. My vehicle is not in the greatest condition with the paint, because of a defect in manufacturing that made the clear coat peal. The 3 things that made my visit very bad were 1. they insulted me by telling me that they would only give me $500 for my car on trade in and that they would have a hassle trying to get rid of it so is would make more sense to take it out and shoot it. That right there killed the sale for me, because he could have just told me that they did not want the car, but he did not have to insult me by talking bad about my property. It was completely unprofessional and I did not expect that kind of attitude from the Korum family. 2. They ran mine and my wifes credit which is part of the process, but some how for my wife they came up with a credit score that was 108 points below what it is actually at. As soon as we got home we ran her credit to see if maybe some fraud happened or something to lower it that much, but it was not that low. The salesman treated us like we didnt know what we were talking about most likely because we are a young couple, but we keep on top of our scores and finances. 3. The offer that they brought to us on the Escape was still $1500 over what they said they could get the price down to and they would not budge off that price. I have loved the customer service I have gotten from service department, but the sales team needs some adjusting. The salesman was even complaining that the owner was still working and saying he needed to retire already. That shows you the care these employees have for the workplace. I do not think after this experience that I will ever go back to korum for anything. More

The salesman who assisted me was friendly enough although not the usual over the top kind of friendly that I think most people expect from a car dealership. The biggest problem, and what will keep me from ever returning or recommending Korum to a friend or family member, was the finance guy. I wish I could remember his name. I'm pretty sure he wanted to punch me in the face for refusing GAP coverage along with my refusal to purchase a limited warranty. He was the most rude condescending employee that I have ever come into contact with in a customer service oriented business such as a car dealership. I nearly got up and walked out even though I had already started signing papers for the vehicle. I held my ground and turned him down - repeatedly - and in the end, Korum lost the chance to gain a repeat customer. More

He has excellent knowledge of the 2013 Escape which helped us in our decision to go with the 2013 Escape. He communicated with us constantly throughout our time between our first visit to Korum and culminating with our purchasing our Escape yesterday. They did a great job matching the price from other dealer websites. The dealer was freindly and easy to work with. My experience was really good. The Ford website lists this exact Vin# vehicle for less money than the Korum Dealer is trying to sell the car for. The Ford website inventory gives you a place to click for a special offer. The offer I got from Korum Ford was higher than the price listed on the Ford website. This may turn some people away and needs to be fixed. Thanks More
