On first service after warranty, $2000 of work recommended ( including replacing tires - I am still driving on these 4 years later ). It's been over 4 years since warranty expired, and I still have not spent $2000 in work. Interesting how no work required, but need phantom work as soon as warranty expires. More

We recently bought a car at the Tysons Koons and asked for a few things to be fixed in the transaction. We received the commitment in writing, but when we arrived to have the work done, the manager renege for a few things to be fixed in the transaction. We received the commitment in writing, but when we arrived to have the work done, the manager reneged, claiming the "in writing" guarantee was not what he meant and that he didn't say anything he actually said in the sale. He outright lied to us. I've left messages for the GM and the owner of the Koons dealerships and have received no calls back. It's safe to say customer service is not a priority, so my money for the next vehicle we plan to buy and all repairs will not be at anything Koons in the furture. I recommend strongly that everyone avoid the Koons name. There are plenty of car dealerships out there. Don't waste your time with this chain. More
After dealing with many dealerships in the past, I have to say, Amen Riyati was the best salesperson I ever dealt with. There was no pressure to buy. First time I visited in February and I wasn't mentall to say, Amen Riyati was the best salesperson I ever dealt with. There was no pressure to buy. First time I visited in February and I wasn't mentally ready to buy yet. It usually is impossible to leave without immense pressure by the sales person and his 'manager'. I went back last week and drove off in a brand new RAV4. More
I don't know about other salesperson in this dealership, but this paticular salesperson I was dealing with was VERY RUDE!! When I asked for a test drive, she asked me to show my car insurance card. At th but this paticular salesperson I was dealing with was VERY RUDE!! When I asked for a test drive, she asked me to show my car insurance card. At that time I was seeking for my first car and of course I didn't have it. She said, so I'll have to be on the car. I said, that's alright. Then she said: "But I don't want to". In the end, I test drove in the parking lot around their office, if you call that a test drive. This salesperson didn't seem she's hoping to make a deal at all. She didn't seem to care about introducing the car, and was unwilling to negotiate the price. She walked in to talk to her manager about the price once, like many other dealers do, but when she came out, not a penny was dedected. Finally when I was about to leave, I asked her to give me the piece of paper where car equipment and prices are listed, just for my record, the answer is "No, you are not making deal with me so you can't take this". Then I made a deal elsewhere with $1,600 less. If this was the end of the story, I wouldn't be posting this review. A few days later, she called back and ask if I'm still in need of a new car. I said I've got my car elsewhere. I also told her the dealership I got my car from as she requested. Then she hung up my phone suddenly and rudely. It seems that if they don't earn your business, they don't pay any respect to you either. I don't know how they'll treat you if you make a deal with them, but if you plan to do so, good luck! All in all, I went to 5 different dealerships for my new car, and this is the worst I've ever had. DON'T EVEN WALK IN THIS DEALERSHIP IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET INSULTED !! More
I have been servicing my Toyota Sienna in this Koons location regularly with a hope of good & reputable service for the high price that are being charged; In a hard way, I realized they are #1 fraud and location regularly with a hope of good & reputable service for the high price that are being charged; In a hard way, I realized they are #1 fraud and charge without even touching!! First time when I found the problem, I thought "Err is human" and continue to go there for the brand name they have as I always used to trust authorized dealers. That's a huge mistake and I will never ever go there again. More
I gave them a deposit of $500 for a new car, with the very clear understanding that it is fully refundable if I change my mind. I visited Tysons Toyota with the intention of purchasing a car. I found the sales staff overly pushy and unhelpful, refusing to listen to my requests or address my questions and constantly attempting to co a car. I found the sales staff overly pushy and unhelpful, refusing to listen to my requests or address my questions and constantly attempting to convince me to buy cars I did not want. Their prices were significantly worse than those at the dealership where I ended-up buying my new Toyota, the one run by Carmax in Laurel. In the month since I told Tysons Toyota that I was no longer interested in purchasing a car from them, their representatives have called me at home 7 times. More
I was in the process of researching cars to make my first ever car buy. I was pretty sure I wanted the Yaris, but wanted to test drive it and a few other cars and have a few days to ponder over it before ac ever car buy. I was pretty sure I wanted the Yaris, but wanted to test drive it and a few other cars and have a few days to ponder over it before actually making a buy. I made my entire situation clear right when I met with my salesman and said I would not be making any purchase that day, simply test driving. The first Yaris the salesman pulls out for me is a decent used one, but it had a rusted dent in the side that definitely should've been fixed before even putting it on the sales lot. On top of that, they were asking for about $18,000 on a used Yaris Sedan that had way over 100,000 miles on it in less than a year...I wouldn't have payed a cent over $9,000 for something like that. After I test drove another Yaris sedan, I was pretty sure it was the car for me, but Koons didn't have any of the hatchback versions in stock, which was the style I wanted (I made it clear I didn't want a sedan). When discussing this with my salesman, he said he understood. When I stated that I'd be comfortable doing a factory order of the Yaris hatchback, he told me to old on a moment...he walked away and brought back a pricing sheet for the car I just test drove and asked me to sign at the bottom...trying to convince me to put down a deposit on a car I said I didn't want. When I kept saying I was going to leave, he kept walking away saying he was just going to bring me some information about the car...but everytime he came back he began trying to convince me to buy THAT car THAT day because he had a quota to meet. I told him AT LEAST (no exaggeration) 10 times that there was NO WAY I would be purchasing a car that day. He called me the next day to tell me that the car I wanted (which I said I didn't actually want) was still available and ready to pick up anytime. I said no thank, please don't call back...2 days later, he called back. The same day of that fiasco I went to Lustine Toyota in Woodbridge and was so relieved by how much more professional and considerate they were that I bought a Yaris from them that same afternoon and haven't regretted it one bit. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT ON ANY KOONS DEALERSHIP AGAIN. They are LIARS, CHEATERS, RUDE, and INCOMPETENT xxxxxxxx. More
Friendly dealership with good selection of vehicles, however very dishonest. I was shown an invoice that showed the dealer cost, dealer options cost and freight charges to arrive at the overall dealer however very dishonest. I was shown an invoice that showed the dealer cost, dealer options cost and freight charges to arrive at the overall dealer cost. I made a deal based on this cost and was given the "offer sheet". The offer sheet showed my agreed price, taxes, tags, freight, etc. to arrive at our final price. We agreed. After later examining the sheet, we discovered the extra freight charge....they were double charging us for the same freight. When confronted about it, Kaveh, one of the sales managers "confessed" that double charging freight is a standard practice in the industry and is done for profit when deals are being made at just over invoice. If this is the way Koons Tysons Toyota does business...they won't get mine anymore. In fact, I will not set foot in any Koons dealership again. If you go there....be very wary of what charges they are hitting you with. Make sure they only hit you with them once....and when the numbers don't add up on the invoice...make sure to get an explanation of what the "missing numbers" are. Plain and simple....they are just crooks there. More
