I have bought two Ford mustangs from Sheehy Ford. First one because it was a good price. The second purchase was awful. Rude nasty people. Once I took ownership of the car they didn't care. They didn't get my tags until 60 days and I got a ticket. The while hung was a nightmare. I swore I would never go back. So when I needed to buy a new mustang. I said I wanted to try Koons. My mother was the manager of Nordstroms gift gallery and had helped one of the Koons family member purchase holiday gifts. My mother said she was very nice and sweet. Also one my buddies who had bought from koons said it was a great dealership. So I decided I'd give them a try. All I have to say it was a awesome expierence. Vince was just a great guy. He was very nice to my mother who came with me. Got my mother tea and talked with her. Scott was very clear with his explanation of the numbers. And Rebecca funny cute and just great. I could tell that hey were all concerned that I was happy with my purchase. I went to work and tell my coworkers about how happy I was after buying my car. Alex and Colin were fantastic in trying to find the right truck for our family needs. This was very difficult, because the combination of specs. packageges and accessories was indeed very hard to find. Even truck for our family needs. I had been trying to decide whether to purchase a Toyota Prius, Toyota Camry Hybrid, or Ford Fusion and was fortunate enough to get advice from Alex Perdikis, the general manager of the Koons of Silver Spri Prius, Toyota Camry Hybrid, or Ford Fusion and was fortunate enough to get advice from Alex Perdikis, the general manager of the Koons of Silver Spring, Inc. dealership. Alex suggested I look at the Ford Cmax line and provided a few key features about these cars that immediately resonated with my needs for a reliable hybrid with the “creature comforts” I found were totally missing from the Toyota models. After my own extensive on-line research, including price comparisons, I visited the Koons of Silver Spring dealership to test drive a Cmax one Friday afternoon. I found the dealership conveniently located off the ICC, a quick and traffic free drive with lots of parking close to the showroom. Mike Bancroft was the sales associate who helped me. Mike knew so much more about the models and features than any web site could provide, and truly helped me decide on the car and model that fit my needs. He used his superior knowledge about the relevant models to discuss the features of the Ford Cmax without aggressive and offensive sales tactics. The electronics and controls of the Cmax are very sophisticated and after a 30 minute test drive, demonstration of the working aspects of the car and frank discussion about the pros and cons of the Cmax compared to the Cmax Energi, I decided to purchase a Cmax. Alex and Mike worked with me to provide a competitive price for the new Ford AND my trade-in vehicle. They had the exact Cmax model, including the option package and color I wanted, on the lot, and I was able to test drive, trade my vehicle in, purchase a new car, and execute all the paperwork (with Rebecca Byrd’s expert assistance) in less than 2 hours. Mike and Alex both have continued to call to see if I had any questions or concerns about the car, even one month after the purchase. They really do care about the customers. I plan to return to visit the Koons team with any new vehicle needs for me or my family and absolutely love my Cmax which, despite some on-line reviews stating the contrary, gets 43-45 mpg when being driven with a heavy foot, AC blasting and stereo cranked. More
Finally resolved the delivery issue after 5 weeks, ended up purchasing a completely different car than originally planned. Loved the CX-7 more than we thought. Not sure we would drive all that way again, but they did work hard to make things right after the fiasco of the never ending transmission recall/service (vendor issue-but we got tired of waiting). They even contacted a completely different dealership to try to get us a different car. We ended up falling in love with a completely different car and love it!!!! More

I dealt with two sales people and were both very cordial and attentive to my needs. The same cannot be said about the Sales Manager (trust me you will know he is the Sales Manager because he will continue to remind you) Jarred Carver. This person is the most arrogant and self-centered being that I have dealt in a long time. I was there to purchase two cars and he single handedly reminded me why car salespeople have a bad reputation. I am sure there are very good people in the car business but Mr. Carver is the reason why they cannot be trusted. Mr. Carver never addressed me by my name nor had the ability to look at my eyes when trying to carry a conversation with me. I have a feeling that he was not being honest with me but I cannot confirm my suspicions. He had the audacity to tell me that the car that I was trying to buy was too much car for me. Of course, he also tried to sell me something that I did not want. Are you kidding me? Little did he know that I can buy any car that I want but that is not the case. I was there to purchase two cars for my children who are now of driving age. He never attempted to figure out why I was there and the driving force behind my visit. He insulted me as a person and as a consumer. I feel very sorry for the people who work for Mr. Carver because I am sure that this was not an isolated event. I will be sure to let my friends, co-workers, and family members know about how I was treated so they know to avoid the Koons dealerships. I have purchased many vehicles from the Koons organization but if they hire and tolerate these types of individuals then they do not deserve my business. I may not be in the sales business but I know a thing or two about people. As a fellow consumer, I would advise you to steer clear of Koons Used Cars or you run the risk of being disrespected and humiliated as I was. More

KOONS FORD IS THE WAY TO GO!!!!! My old explorer broke down last weekend and I was in desperate need to buy a new car ASAP. I went to Silver Spring to check out a few of the cars. Alex introduced me to Allen Weber, a salesman who was fantastic and truly knows his stuff! Allen spent a great amount of time with me that day as I searched for a new car. Both Allen and Alex were extremely informative, passionate, and happy to help me pick out a car that was perfect for me! I ended up buying a used 2013 Hyundai Sonata at an incredible rate! Financing the car was a breeze with Rob Flowers. I am 100% confident that I got the best rates possible! Alex, Allen, and the entire family working at Koons were amazing through this whole process of buying a new car! I will recommend to all of my family and friends to buy their next car at Koons of Silver Spring! More

Ms. Sabrina Hicks, my sales consultant, delivered excellent customer service; she made me feel welcomed and very much at ease. She was very professional and attended all my questions. Ms. Hicks made sure I was comfortable with the answers. She made sure I was familiar with the attributes of the car and explained them in detail. I felt very much empowered and at ease in driving my new MKZ off the lot and back into Washington, DC. I truly enjoyed my experience and as you can tell, I thought it was excellent.
