I got a used 2021 GMC Yukon xl from Koons on February 4th. While I was driving home the check engine light came on. I called and they said to bring it back. I live over an hour a way, so this was inconve 4th. While I was driving home the check engine light came on. I called and they said to bring it back. I live over an hour a way, so this was inconvenient, but I obviously drove down the next day. Jon Ponce De Leon, my service guy, reset the check engine light and sent me on my way. He also informed me that this was an issue GMC was having and if the problem continued, it would be big money to fix. I was very concerned about this, since I had just got the car a few days earlier. Of course, a day later the check engine light came back on and now no one is calling me back. I have left several messages. Someone named Tyler has owed me a call for over a week. I still have the temp tags on and can’t get my car inspected because the check engine light is still on and no one will call me back! I’m guessing Koons is trying to wait out the 30 day warranty since (that ends tomorrow) so they were willing to help the day after but not now. They knowingly sold us a lemon SUV for over $40k and have ghosted me. I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau. This has been the worst car buying experience of my life. Please do not buy a car from here. They are crooks. More

It took this dealer six months to fix an EPB problem. Funny that as soon as I wouldn’t get back to their calls, they were quick to threaten with $85 a day parking fee. We asked about a loaner when we first took our car to them. Nope. For the first two weeks we rented another car elsewhere, thinking it would be a quick fix, but all things considered, we had to either buy or lease another car. I was interested in one of their electric vehicles. We talked to the manager, but he had no offers worth the trouble, neither to lease, nor to rent, and the same happened at a different Kia dealer, though they were nicer, so we just took our business elsewhere. I must say that I am no stranger to either Kia or to this dealer, I have bought two brand new cars from them, the first of which I sold them back, I have financed through them, I recommended them to a friend who has bought two used cars from them. They could have shown a little more interest. Personally, I am done with Kia and with this dealer. More
