BAIT AND SWITCH and another lie AB provided via email an out the door price for a new 2019 Sorento EX V6 and the worksheet indicating 5 miles on the odometer. Their price was in line AB provided via email an out the door price for a new 2019 Sorento EX V6 and the worksheet indicating 5 miles on the odometer. Their price was in line with other dealers in the area and since Woodbridge was the the first to respond we went there for the test drive and to ultimately purchase if everything worked out. We arrive and within minutes the vehicle is available for the test drive. We turn on the ignition and the "new" vehicle has 6,200 miles on the odometer. Our salesman George proceeds to say this was a manager's car and that you want many miles on your new car. We go for the drive and get back to the dealership. We sit down and I show him I have another quote for a few hundred dollars less for a real new car. I say I am interested in a great deal on this vehicle with 6,200 miles. He says great, asks how much for the down payment, and goes to speak with the manager. We sit at his desk for about 20 minutes with no activity. At this point we are getting up to leave and out of nowhere George appears with the new price and says great news we have a fantastic deal for you. He points to a price $5,000 lower than the original quote. It only took a second to realize all he did was subtract the down payment from the total price. The final price had not changed by a cent! We walk out and they run after us asking begging us to come back in to make a deal. Yeah right. Ultimately purchased from another dealer with no miles for less than the original quote and no hassle. Please don't waste your time here. More

No haggling, no hassling...just easy-going, laid back, upfront and honest...I have no complaints. Tim let the vehicle speak for itself, and it screamed, "BUY ME!!!" LOL In this day and time, the pressure of salespeople to get someone to buy a vehicle sometimes turns a potential customer off. Tim was the exact opposite of that, which is why I bought the vehicle. That, and the vehicle really did speak for itself. And Kirk Cooley, the Finance Manager, was also very laid back and cool (like his name). He explained the process, and even provided me with additional information I didn't get from other dealerships. That's great service that goes above and beyond, and this customer is VERY happy with her purchase! Can you tell in my picture? :-) Thanks, Koons Kia; you all are GREAT!!! More

STAY AWAY - BAIT & SWITCH If you don't have integrity, nothing else matters. I drove 2 hrs after confirming the price, but when I got there of course things changed. He arrogantly responded that I should have gotten it from him in writing. So he admitted in that quote he's sleazy and a liar. He admitted that he lied to get me in there. I could have paid the difference, but his terrible customer service is why I didn't. He had been introduced as a Finance Manager, when asked for the Sales Manager, Alex said he was, when asked for the General Manager, Alex responded he was the General Manager - wow, must be a tough day being three people! I also told him before coming that we are a military family transitioning and registering the vehicle out of state; he had the info. Out of laziness or incompetence - probably both - he put it to the wrong state & told me I don't need to worry about it. His incompetence would have cost me THOUSANDS of dollars in error! Does this dealership/Alex just hate the military or not know/care what they're doing?! Finally, out of respect I tried to wait around to return the keys & give him my decision - he never even came back, never looked up, nothing... Very arrogant, rude & disrespectful. Pretty bad since I'm the paying customer. Of course, another customer was walking away from Alex as we walked in the door. Was that a lost unit due to Alex's lies or terrible customer service? ***I have to say, how bad do you have to be to lose a deal from a customer that was already willing to go through finance & willing to drive over two hours and pass countless other dealerships to get to you? He was extremely patient, straight to the point, and made sure that we were completely satisfied with our new Telluride. He didn't stop there though. Even when we were talking with Kirk in financing, who was also phenomenal, Anthony still checked on us to see how things were going and to make sure we were good to go. Did I mention we had our two kids with us and by the time we were all done they were calling him uncle Anthony. It was like working with family. We feel truly blessed to have Anthony help us. Please stay away from them! PLEASE READ ENTIRE REVIEW! First I would like to state that I purchased 5 used 7 new vehicles in 11 years from dealers. I have a decent experience wh PLEASE READ ENTIRE REVIEW! First I would like to state that I purchased 5 used 7 new vehicles in 11 years from dealers. I have a decent experience when it comes to car buying especially that I worked in sales when I was younger. Unfortunately this experience was unique and unpleasant. I decided to purchase a used towing vehicle and it happened that they had the exact vehicle I was looking for. The sales person was ok but it was very hard to negotiate with them which I can't say it was a negative since I consider he was trained well. Besides that they sold me a vehicle with a faulty tire pressure sensor which costs $15 (not a deal breaker for me). I think the sales portion of this whole transaction was acceptable considering I purchased this vehicle at a decent price. The problems started piling up after: 1. They did not inform me that I have to do emission testing in order to obtain my permanent tags. I waited for 3 weeks then I called back because my tags were not arriving. I was told by the title and registration rep that I need emissions to obtain my tags. I was working long hours which made it slightly inconvenient to get emissions done in the last minute. 2. I financed the vehicle via my credit union who sent the check to their parent company "Koons of Woodbridge". Their finance director endorsed the check wrong then in order to fix their own mistake claimed that my credit union addressed the check to the wrong entity and that it should be "Koons Kia of Woodbridge" because they are not affiliated with "Koons of Woodbridge" even though it says "Koons of Woodbridge" on the Buyers Order . After a bunch of emails and headaches (their finance director repeatedly insulted my credit union rep) my credit union rep decided it wasn't a fight worth fighting so they put a stop on that check and issued another one. 3. My temporary tags were forged and the offender went through a couple of speed traps and video tolls. I received the tickets a couple of weeks later. I managed to resolve the speed camera ones but MTA required proof that those tags were assigned to my vehicle. Since I made a mistake and threw away the temp registration after it expired, I called and emailed the dealership asking for help. I asked them to send me proof of registration. They would not answer my call unless I would hide my caller ID and they told me they'll help me out but 2 weeks later after calling every two days and sending several emails it didn't get resolved. I had to pay the tickets because I was right at my due date. After analyzing the pictures with the forged tags I realized that there is a high chance that someone at the dealership forged my tags and used them for multiple violations. The tags looked very similar to the originals and my car was parked very far from where the violations were committed. My vehicle was also parked behind my enclosed trailer on a one way street the whole time which makes it even harder to forge since you can't see the tags at all unless you look into your rear view mirror. PLEASE stay away from this dealership and if you ever purchase a vehicle keep your temporary registration and tags at least 60 days after expiration. There are way better dealerships out there even if you are interested in a Kia vehicle. Sorry for the long text and thank you for reading! More
