Our first experience with Koons Kia in Owings Mills was for a test drive only. We were not only impressed with the car, but also the friendliness, courtesy, and professional competence of everyone we dealt for a test drive only. After the test drive, we were contacted a few times by the Koons staff to see where we stood in our process, and when I explained that we "weren't quite there yet", there was absolutely no pressure. Once we decided that the Kia Optima was the car we wanted, we returned to Koons and were again impressed by the level of professionalism in all aspects of the transaction, from Darrin Bethea (our sales rep), to Rachel Barnes (the finance officer), and everyone in between. At no time did we feel anything less than full comfort in negotiating and talking to the staff at Koons. We were able negotiate a good price, including more for my trade-in than CarMax would have given us, and drove away tired but absolutely satisfied.
