I bought a new KIA Sportage on July 4th. Our local KIA dealership in Westminster was closed for the holiday so we decided to come down to Owings Mills. Johnathan Carr was our sales associate. Johnathan went way above and beyond to make it possible for me to drive my new vehicle home on the day we signed the papers. After the papers were signed and Johnathan had the car all ready to roll off the showroom floor (he had it so shiny) there was a problem discovered! Some problem with a fuse-are you kidding? I am all excited to get into my new car and drive it home! I was told that since it was a holiday the tech crew was not available to look at it-I would have to take another car home-then trade it later. So we head home without the car. As we get 15 mins. away I get a call on my cell. It is Johnathan calling-he discovered the problem and fixed it-he was bringing my car to me! In the end I did get to bring my new car home that night. It was already after closing time-plus it was a holiday-but Johnathan brought the car to us. This really meant a lot to me. He genuinely cared about us, something that you don't find very often. I would never have taken the time to write this review-I never do this, but Johnathan deserves to have this good review come his way! I appreciated his service to us and recommend him to others. My wife and I came in today to look at a few cars for a possible future purchase. Most of the service was helpful, but it went downhill when we met the finance guy (Mike). I understand that we weren't looking to purchase a car today, but with a serious mind to purchase in the future (and in the future I mean within the month) I would expect the service to be interested in making a sale. Mike on the other hand came off like he could care less if we were buying a car or not. My wife and I will not be returning to this dealership which is unfortunate because we enjoyed the rest of our experience there. More
