Everyone at the dealership was a pleasure to work with. Bill Thompson took extra time to show me some of the features of the car, which I greatly appreciated. Would consider working with them again if I Bill Thompson took extra time to show me some of the features of the car, which I greatly appreciated. The sales office was fine. That was the extent of it. I purchased a warranty on my used vehicle that I purchased. The first issue I had was that my brake line was leaking. That was the extent of it. I purchased a warranty on my used vehicle that I purchased. The first issue I had was that my brake line was leaking. I took it in and it took them a week to "fix" the brake line. A few days later, I almost died when my brakes went completely out. Fortunately, I had room to coast to a stop. I called them and they actually suggested that I drive the truck back and they would look at it. Eventually, they agreed to send a tow truck. They looked at it and initially informed me that the line had ruptured, but it was a section that they had not fixed, so I was going to have to pay for that part to be fixed and pay for the tow. I reminded them about my warranty and they ended up fixing it after having it for another week. Fast forward a year, my check engine light came on and I took it to them. They said it was due to faulty knock sensors. It took them another week to fix the problem (according to them part of the delay was getting authorization from the warranty company). My check engine light came on again and it was the knock sensors again. Again, they had the vehicle for about a week and replaced the knock sensors. 4 days later, I took it for an emissions inspection. Oddly enough, it failed inspection due to the knock sensors. After numerous calls, the service technician told me to take it somewhere else to have it fixed. When I inquired as to who would cover the cost, it took me 10 more days to get a response from the Service Manager, Anthony Jones. Mr. Jones tells me that I need to take the truck somewhere else because his service staff is not qualified to fix the problem and that Koons Easton has no responsibility to cover the cost of their botched repair job. Of course, this call comes exactly 1 day before my extended warranty expires. What kind of mechanic shop will work on a vehicle that, in their own words, "they are not qualified to perform the work". I am done with this dealership. More
