Poor Service Department Took my 2014 Tacoma to Koons Easton on 11/28/19 to get an oil change, tire rotation and a 4 wheel alignment. Mileage was 38,299. The paperwork showed Took my 2014 Tacoma to Koons Easton on 11/28/19 to get an oil change, tire rotation and a 4 wheel alignment. Mileage was 38,299. The paperwork showed my front brakes were in the GREEN. I went back 9/30/19 for an oil change and tire rotation. Mileage 44,019. the difference of 5,720 miles. The service adviser came to the waiting and took me out to my truck. Told me that I could not drive home because my front brakes are too bad for me to drive home SO in 5,720 miles my front pads went from green to dangerous. Called the service manager and told him this story and he told me it must be from the way I drive. I have 45,460 miles on my truck with original tires. I called Jim Koon's assistant Beth Kerr twice and got no reply. Put on Facebook and got a call from the General managers office. Spoke with his assistant and told her my story. I was told the General manager would call me back, never heard a word back. The assistant sent me a gift card for $10 from WaWa. So a get a $10 gift card and NO ONE from KOON"S has yet to get in touch with me. BAD BUSINESS to me ! DON"T USE THERE SERVICE DEPARTMENT More

From Kimberlee Kelly who was on the ball when it came to getting back to me promptly from all my emails I sent. My Salesman Lewis Scott who made buying a new 2019 Camry a pleasurable experience. He answered all my questions I had. He went above and beyond the call of duty. I bought and signed off on a new car. But before I picked up the car that they did not have on there lot I was suppose to get the car in a few days. But the following day decided I wanted to change the color of the car. Lewis went out of his way to find that color of car I wanted. My wife and I were both very happy! Lewis was a great guy and would do anything to help you out. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new Toyota to go down to Easton Md. To a beautiful dealership with some good people working there. Thank you again, Rob S More

Dishonest and Doesn’t Keep their Word I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this establishment. We spoke with a manager yesterday regarding a truck they have on their lot and were I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this establishment. We spoke with a manager yesterday regarding a truck they have on their lot and were told to message or call them the morning we are planning to come to buy the truck and they would hold it even though it isn’t normally their policy, since we would be driving from over 3 hours away. We messaged our sales representative, Bill, last night and this morning. We stated this morning at 6:15 A.M. we would be driving down at 3 P.M. today. No response from him at all! We received a call from the manager, Chris, at 9:30 A.M. and he had no idea that we had even messaged Bill the night before or that morning. I told him we would be coming down at 3 P.M. to buy the truck and asked about the various ways they accept payments and told him we would message him with the amount to include on the buying order. When we messaged him the information he requested, we received a message back stating they have someone there who is buying the truck now. We told him about the conversation that was had with the other manager and he said, it had been sold and he was sorry. I immediately tried to call him and he did not answer his cell phone, then called the sales rep, Bill and he did not answer, then called the dealership and they did not connect them on the phone either. Chris called a little later and had no explanation as to why he did not know about the promise the other manager told him and why he would sell a car out from under the people who already told him that they were coming to purchase the car. As mentioned previously, DO NOT take their word about anything this dealerships tells you! Get EVERYTHING in writing! Can you imagine the headache that would come if you ever had an issue and needed their help if this is how they treat you during the buying process?! In my opinion, they do not care about the relationship with their customers, but instead their bottom line. Especially do not work with Chris (sales manager) or Bill (sale representative), instead find someone who truly cares about the seller/buyer relationship and an honest process! Update: spoke with the General Sales manager, JT, and he DENIED that a manager said that!!! Then later in the exact conversation said he doesn’t know which manager was on duty yesterday during that time, but he is going to find out. Soooo you can say that the manager didn’t say that, but you haven’t even asked the manager if he did or didn’t say it! 100% NOT customer oriented and thankful that this ultimately didn’t work out because can you imagine having to call them to ask a question after you have bought the car?! More
Good price on used car but customer service lacking I bought a used Toyota Highlander there in May, 2018. I got a good deal though Jon Frederick on the phone. Sara Kritzer was my original contact but she wasn't there when I came in to test drive the car. Chris Willis was there and he was excellent and patient even though the dealership was getting ready to close. My issue comes in when I called back the following week to speak to Jon Frederick and I have yet to get a return phone call. My thought is he doesn't care once you buy the car but before hand he called me, to make the deal. I did not call him. I had only spoke to Sara Kritzer. Even though this happened , I still recommended them to some friends of mine. They stopped by on June 20th to look at the RAV because they were considering it or the Honda CRV. They went in the show room and stood there for 25 minutes and no one approached them to help them. They left and went next door to Hertrich , got great customer service and bought a new CRV instead. How does no one not approach someone standing in your showroom if you want to sell cars? More
