Was looking into a 2018 Raptor that has been sitting collecting dust at that dealership for almost a year without any buyers. Yea, only a crazy guy like me would want to buy a 70K truck in these times lol. You think the dealer would show some interest and try and win my business right? lol. Wrong!! Tried contacting the dealership a couple of weeks ago, after a few tries finally this guy calls me back. I tell him i am interested and ask him to send me his email. No response haha. I finally decide to call back to see if i can get another salesman. Go to see i get this guy who claims he only deals in 'used cars' at the dealership and is extremely rude. I liked the truck so like a fool i decide to call back a third time. Get the same guy who i spoke to the first time. All in all, finally fix an appointment and go in to check out the truck. They threw out some numbers, give me a value on my trade in. I tell them i need a couple of days to think and do some research myself. You would think that out of courtesy a salesman/ sales manager would call you the next day or so to check in right? This is customer service 101. But nothing! To my amazement i did some research and found out via KBB these guys offered me almost 8000 less on my trade in??!? I was a little surprised as Koons so very proudly states on their website they will offer 125% of the KBB value!! Mind you in had a mint super high end SUV still under factory warranty so i was a little more upset. Me being stupid and still wanting that truck i decide to call the dealer a THIRD time to see if we can work something out. Call up and tell the salesman i want to come in to discuss. He tells me- 'Listen i want to save you a trip, we are fixed on our price blah blah blah' , basically saying dont bother coming in haha.I tell him about the KBB value discrepancy. He says the number might be low and he can talk to the manager and see if he can increase it a 'little'. He says i will talk to the manager and 'call you back'. i wait all evening and nothing!! Koons and FORD leaves me no option but to call this out. I would leave NEGATIVE stars if i had this option. Absolutely PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE from the salesman and New car sales manager! Very disappointed. Here i am in these pandemic times offering the dealership to buy a truck off their lot that mind you has been sitting collecting dust for almost a year and trade in a good SUV that will sell way faster lol. Stupid me! I mean come on, who goes into a dealership and pays what the dealership asks for?? and that too in these low economic and pandemic times?? These guys should have gone all out to sell me the truck!! I think what frustrated me was the poor customer service. Absolutely amateurish salesmanship from the salesman and a very over smart sales manager. That truck is going to sit there rusting, unless a crazy guy likes me comes by and is stupid enough to buy such an expensive truck. If dealership act like this, it wont be long enough till they will need another bailout! Very bad FORD and KOONS. I hope the General Manager and District manger reads this review. Will be sharing this review on other sites as well and FORD directly. I would call out the names of those sales people (they know who they are), and i actually might soon. Its the dealer's loss here #KOONS #FORD #FORDCUSTOMERSERVICE ps- i know whats going to happen next- the customer relationships person will respond to this message with some scripted reply apologizing, yada yada and will end with saying- call me at ___ to discuss. Not happening! I ain't calling anyone and neither interested in the truck anymore. Good luck with that truck. You ain't the only Ford Dealer in the area and this ain't the only website for reviews. If you purchase a vehicle from this company, do not purchase an extended warranty. This company does not honor their warranties and will create a loophole not to service your vehicle under the warranty purchase an extended warranty. I had a great experience buying a used car here. The staff was friendly and helpful. My sales guy, Aaron Anderson, was great all around! He was easy to talk to, informative, and attentive. I had to bring my car back after noticing a chip in the windshield right after I drove it off the lot and they fixed it with a brand new windshield the next day. Started with my salesman,who flat out lied to me about who they deal with for banks. I told him I'd bring a check,he said they dealt with my bank. In the mean time they took the bed cover off to accommodate another customer. They wrote me an I owe you, which two months later still is not fulfilled. Fortunately Last and Final Review of Dysfunctional Business So.. I've reviewed this place before- I'm a Surgeon, had a broken Bluetooth, it spirals into more issues- where ultimately my entire display was br So.. I've reviewed this place before- I'm a Surgeon, had a broken Bluetooth, it spirals into more issues- where ultimately my entire display was broken: so radio/serius radio/bluetooth/navigation/seat controls- all not working. Brought into the dealership after getting twice cancelled the day before because they were overbooked. No big deal, I just brought it a 3d time. They keep it overnight, and told me "it needs a part that's on national back order. It'll be at least a month. Don't call us, we'll call you when it comes in." Nothing more from them. Supposedly it's an APIM processor, I had to call multiple times to find out what the part is. In the meantime, my car is borderline not drivable- display and all those functions above not working. And I'm going to go out on a limb here- they were never going to call me. I guess I could've waited a month with no bluetooth/radio/seat controls/nav and hoped they called me out of the blue, but we all know they probably never would have. And it's totally unfair to have a customer go home with a broken vehicle and have them wait "1 month at least" with no repair date in sight. By the way, I called other Ford dealerships (4 of them), and all 4 told me they could get the APIM processor overnight if needed- of course this dealership just couldn't get it off backorder for over 1 month. Don't know why. Unfortunately as more and more functions on the screen, little by little, I called to speak to a manger, to see if/when the part would come in. I was polite every time. Just wanted to know a timeline, ask why they can't get the processor. They just refuse to return calls, they say they'll call in 1 hour, they never call back. The most arrogant and nasty folks you'll ever want to deal with- and remember, I'm waiting 1 month at least for them to supposedly call me. Finally the guy Dennis Koulatsos (who many people have written reviews about his attitude and negative personality) calls me, and says take the car somewhere else, they don't want to work with me any more. This "manager" calls and tells me "it's not a good fit, bring it somewhere else." The guy doesn't have a ton of social skills, but hey- he's not high on the food chain of life, I'm guessing never went to college, pathetic existence. So I had no choice, I had to get rid of my truck, it would've never worked again, they'd never call me back, they'd never fix the APIM processor. I was waiting at least a month for a call I'd never get. So I had to sell it, this service shop forced me to sell my truck because they'd never fix it. Silver lining? I told it back to a Koon's dealership, who didn't realize the truck was terminally broken. So they have to deal with their truck that Dennis Koulatsos doesn't want to fix. Stay away from this place. Any dispute of this story that they respond with is pure rubbish, there is no other side to the story. More
