I took my car in for a recalled part replacement, and received a receipt stating they had replaced the part. A few months later, my then, 2-year-old car was broken down on the side of the road. I towed it to a different Toyota Dealership ($350 tow the week of Christmas) who informed me that the recalled part had not been replaced. I also made the mistake of purchasing ToyotaCare Plus through them, and they have not performed the ToyotaCare Plus services (replacing cabin air filter, replacing oil filter, etc.). I again took my car to another dealer who highly recommended I replace the air filters (strange--I just had them replaced, right?) because they were "the worst they have ever seen." The air filters that I was paying to have replaced have not been replaced a single time in the 3.5 years I have owned the vehicle. They also never answer the phone. I do not recommend Arlington Toyota--I will never go back. More

Don't purchase a used car at Koon Toyota Of Arlington, Virginia. Their goal is to get you to purchase a lemon vehicle and once you drive off the lot then it your problem not the dealership. The service manager is rude and disrespectful and he insulted me saying he gave me four new tires free for my MDX truck.that had 3 different brand types of tires when I purchased the truck. It took almost three weeks to receive the car after the car was inspected. It passed Virginia inspection not the State of f Maryland. This truck looked good inside. However, nothing but mechanical problems. I haven't even made the third payment and was ripped off on the extended warranty for 72 months. No one takes accountability for the role they have in the dealership. If I could give this dealership a 0 star then I would. Look at all reviews. This dealership gets plenty of military buyers. I am saying you will be sorry. I had this MDX for three months and have driven it less than 500 miles. More

I purchased a Toyota Sienna Van from Koons Arlington Toyota as an out of state customer living in Texas in 2021. the vehicle was listed as brand new and then shipped to me via commercial trucking within a few days. I now have an issue with my air conditioning unit in which my local dealership has identified that my entire roof has been replaced, and done so very poorly. I have never replaced the roof or been in an accident and there is no report of this repair on a Carfax report. I have escalated to Toyota Corporate who state the vehicle has not been repaired by them prior to delivery to the dealership. I have had multiple correspondence with Koons Arlington Toyota in which they continue to deny repair of this vehicle. Locally my dealership has had field specialist evaluate the vehicle and confirm in fact the roof has been replaced. Someone ordered the parts and replaced this roof and Koons Arlington Toyota is the common denominator. They do not stand by their product and have left me the consumer out to dry. I have spoken to their service manager Warren Jacobs and their general manager Walter Johnson. The latter who even made such an asinine suggestion that maybe my wife wrecked the vehicle and repaired it without telling me. There are plenty of other Toyota dealerships that are willing to provide quality service and treat their customers with respect, please look anywhere else. I have filed complaints with the Office of the Attorney General, Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission for consumer fraud. More
It has been a pleasure dealing with Mathias Makonnen, who is competent, friendly and helpful. The process of trade-in and purchase was smooth and quick. Delivery to our house was an added benefit. The only negatives involved some minor issues with the car (a Miata), which had not been cleaned (washed) or carefully checked out (seat adjustment control problems, wiper coverage, several items belonging to Koons left in the trunk). I recommend taking plenty of time inspecting before accepting your purchase. Overall, a good experience and a good car. More
